Watching Lionchick, Silver sighed. The chick would make a very able warrior one day, and she wondered where the clan would be even a few moons from now. The future seemed so uncertain, and Silver looked around for something to do to occupy her worried mind.

The perimeter had made substantial progress, and she was sure that predators would not be bothering them that night. What Eaglestar had planned for the rest of the territory, she wasn't sure, but realized that adding to the food pile might be a good next step. "I'm going to catch us some dinner, I have a feeling the warriors are going to be exhausted within the next hour."
