Thorntalon took the two under her wings and hauled them onto beds of grass. She gave the two blood transfusion and patched up the hen's blood squirting wounds. Next, she cleaned all wounds and covered them in honey, lichen, and a woven grass bandage. She carefully plucked all pieces of debris clear of their bodies, also patching and cleansing them. Splints and cushioning were applied to their broken limbs and "The Elixir of Blood" was poured down their throats to help them regain energy slowly and heal quicker.
