(I hope you feel better today!)
WarCry awoke from unconciousness and shuffled to his feet, slightly dazed momentarily as he ruffled his feathers and stormed back onto the battlefield. What made him even angrier was that he was being beaten by a mere bantam; a rooster not even half of his size. The steaming giant flared his blood-red hackles into a bouffant mane that glistened bright crimson under the sun's harsh rays, as he paced, smirking lightly. The little rooster flared his short, hen-feathered hackles as he too paced, his one blood-scarlet eye glinting equally as fiercely as the behemoth in front of him, the breeze gently swaying his turkey-like lavendar tail.
QuickClaw rocketed out of WingClan and bolted into the battle, and he leapt off of a boulder to tackle Frozenbrook onto the ground. His brute force caused Frozenbrook to fall forward onto the already injured Clamshell, in turn crushing the hen beneath her. He tugged his claws out of her and then charged at Twistedspurs with them outspread, knocking the unexpecting rooster off of the struggling Patchwork. He roughly shoved Twistedspurs onto his side and grasped tightly onto the rooster's hock, forcefully and abruptly bending it the wrong way until he heard a snap. Ashfall clawed him off before he could finish doing the other one, leaving TwstedSpurs with one fractured hock and a pained but operable one.
The mysterious new rooster made his first move, going too quickly for WarCry to figure out what he was doing. He dashed and leapt into the air, deeply snagging his spurs into WarCry's face, right above and dangerously close to his eyes, quickly and painfully dragging them down. WarCry snatched the bird in his talons and trashed him against the ground; back and forth, back and forth, before throwing the dazed bantam into the boulder. Before the little bird hit the boulder he snagged his spurs into the ground to catch himself. He wearily stood up on shaking hocks before crashing into WarCry's thick, bony hocks one by one. WarCry stumbled and fell to his chest, where the little bantam sliced his flight feathers off with swift, fluid movements of his spurs. WarCry, now completely flightless, relied completely on the bends of his wings and his injured hocks to stand himself back up.
Ashfall targeted Clawstar and raked her ivory talons across his face, but he grabbed her leg in his beak and spun around with her in his grasp. He spun and spun, gaining speed and inertia, before releasing her and allowing the dizzy and confused Ashfall to accidentally fly right into Adderstorm's face claws-first before she fell to the ground and panted.
(Thank you.
I went to the doctor's yesterday and it turns out it was a bacterial throat infection. I'm now on antibiotics that seem to be helping.)
Frozenbrook silently hid ClamShell in the bushes and told her to hold still. The beauty went bezerk and charged from behind at QuickClaw claws first, forcing him to the ground. Along the way it bent his wing out of shape as she dug her talons straight through it, breaking the muscles and bones painfully. She quickly stabbed at his sides and damaged them with rapid motions, cutting into the ribs and other bones in her way. Leafpaw jumped out of some nearby brush and pulled the rooster's right leg until a loud snapping sound could be heard from the broken and bloody limb.
With the rest of his energy, Twistedspurs briefly got Frozenbrook's attention, crawled into a bush, and passed out.
Adderstorm shook his slightly scarred face and helped Ashfall up. The rooster flung his body at Clawstar and aimed right for his face, digging his spurs deep into each of his cheeks and making him tilt to the ground with the poof of the dust. He speared throat with his beak and began to fearlessly strangle the leader, not worried one bit if he was killing a leader. Soon, more and more gathered for the fight.
