Thorntalon was busy giving Hollychick a check-up on his breathing at the back of the den. Suddently, she sensed the scent of HackleClan nearby and perked up a bit.

(I hope you feel better today!)

WarCry awoke from unconciousness and shuffled to his feet, slightly dazed momentarily as he ruffled his feathers and stormed back onto the battlefield. What made him even angrier was that he was being beaten by a mere bantam; a rooster not even half of his size. The steaming giant flared his blood-red hackles into a bouffant mane that glistened bright crimson under the sun's harsh rays, as he paced, smirking lightly. The little rooster flared his short, hen-feathered hackles as he too paced, his one blood-scarlet eye glinting equally as fiercely as the behemoth in front of him, the breeze gently swaying his turkey-like lavendar tail.

QuickClaw rocketed out of WingClan and bolted into the battle, and he leapt off of a boulder to tackle Frozenbrook onto the ground. His brute force caused Frozenbrook to fall forward onto the already injured Clamshell, in turn crushing the hen beneath her. He tugged his claws out of her and then charged at Twistedspurs with them outspread, knocking the unexpecting rooster off of the struggling Patchwork. He roughly shoved Twistedspurs onto his side and grasped tightly onto the rooster's hock, forcefully and abruptly bending it the wrong way until he heard a snap. Ashfall clawed him off before he could finish doing the other one, leaving TwstedSpurs with one fractured hock and a pained but operable one.

The mysterious new rooster made his first move, going too quickly for WarCry to figure out what he was doing. He dashed and leapt into the air, deeply snagging his spurs into WarCry's face, right above and dangerously close to his eyes, quickly and painfully dragging them down. WarCry snatched the bird in his talons and trashed him against the ground; back and forth, back and forth, before throwing the dazed bantam into the boulder. Before the little bird hit the boulder he snagged his spurs into the ground to catch himself. He wearily stood up on shaking hocks before crashing into WarCry's thick, bony hocks one by one. WarCry stumbled and fell to his chest, where the little bantam sliced his flight feathers off with swift, fluid movements of his spurs. WarCry, now completely flightless, relied solely on the bends of his wings and his injured hocks to stand himself back up.

Ashfall targeted Clawstar and raked her ivory talons across his face, but he grabbed her leg in his beak and spun around with her in his grasp. He spun and spun, gaining speed and inertia, before releasing her and allowing the dizzy and confused Ashfall to accidentally fly right into Adderstorm's face claws-first before she fell to the ground and panted.

(Thank you.

I went to the doctor's yesterday and it turns out it was a bacterial throat infection. I'm now on antibiotics that seem to be helping.)

Frozenbrook silently hid ClamShell in the bushes and told her to hold still. The beauty went bezerk and charged from behind at QuickClaw claws first, forcing him to the ground. Along the way it bent his wing out of shape as she dug her talons straight through it, breaking the muscles and bones painfully. She quickly stabbed at his sides and damaged them with rapid motions, cutting into the ribs and other bones in her way. Leafpaw jumped out of some nearby brush and pulled the rooster's right leg until a loud snapping sound could be heard from the broken and bloody limb.

With the rest of his energy, Twistedspurs briefly got Frozenbrook's attention, crawled into a bush, and passed out.

Adderstorm shook his slightly scarred face and helped Ashfall up. The rooster flung his body at Clawstar and aimed right for his face, digging his spurs deep into each of his cheeks and making him tilt to the ground with the poof of the dust. He speared throat with his beak and began to fearlessly strangle the leader, not worried one bit if he was killing a leader. Soon, more and more gathered for the fight.

Oh, and sorry for my essay.

QuickClaw shot his head back and grabbed Frozenbrook by her neck and twisted, rolling her off. He wearily propped himself up onto his good shank and with his beak still around the hen's neck, he chomped down and severed multiple nerves, causing an unbearable pain. He kept squeezing his mandibles together, with a deadly grasp that could kill her easily if she made a false move. He threw his head around and thrashed her like a baseball bat into Leafpaw's head, knocking the apprentice unconcious and dropping bloodied, limp Frozenbrook on the ground who now had one of her neck bones fractured, prohibiting her from moving her head much at all.

Rainbowflight regained her equilibrium and awareness, standing up wearily. The sun skipped playfully across the beautiful, iridescent black feathers lining her chest, reflecting off in emerald and turquoise tones. She lifted into the air with her mighty, relatively eagle-like wingspan and slashed her claws quickly across Adderstorm's face, leaving nasty gashes behind and tattering his wattle completely. She kicked him off of Clawstar before helping him up in standing back on his feet, leaving Adderstorm laying on his chest. Clawstar roared like a beast and impaled his claws into Adderstorm's spine before tossing him into Ashfall, who was just barely standing back up. Ashfall blacked out as her head crashed hard against the ground from the force of the much larger cock hitting her.

Thunderwing, Lionheart, Squirrelpelt, Fawntail and Iceberry yowled in fury from across the border and flew down to help. Their hackles raised and feathers bristling furiously

(Lol, it's okay. Sorry this is taking so long, my computer decided to suddently delete EVERYTHING I wrote when I was almost done with my "essay".

Nettlefang dropped out of the shadows and landed on QuickClaw's back, taking his sharp claws and ripping his spine completely in half. Once his foe fell to the ground from the wound, he strangled him with his beak until his airways couldn't take it anymore; leaving him blacked out and bloody. Just to give him a taste of his own medicine, he twisted his neck around until it too was fractured. He kicked him to the side and took a few of his injured clanmates to the medicine den, disappearing into the dark once again.

Adderstorm got up and used the last of his energy on Clawstar. The still seemingly sturdy rooster tore his chest until he decided to fall to the ground. Ravenbeak took his place and set his massive beak around his neck and tightened his grip little by little, causing a large crunching sound to be heard from his broken neck. He placed one of his feet on his back and pushed him to the ground with little effort, his beak still clinging to the leader's neck. Once again he tightened his grip, now with both of his feet, he pulled his wings around unaturally until they were bloody and unuseable. He tore at his body and broke muscles all around, eventually pressing down so harshly on his neck that he couldn't take it anymore and passed out. Once his beak was removed, a large and bloody gash was revealed over his nearly air-less neck. Ravenbeak left him in the middle of the battle ground and continued to beat other birds.

HollyTalon stunned Rainbowflight from behind with the tear of her powerful feet, toppling her into a bush of brambles and leaving her stuck inside.

StarryNight shrieked an unearthly noise, a beastly one unlike anything HackleClan had ever heard. Rolling a thin boulder in front of the nursery where her youngest son was, she departed as she saw her dear mate QuickClaw nearly dying and bloodied. She picked him up and slung him over her back, carrying him to the medicine den. She came back to the scene and charged at Ravenbeak with her beak stabbing directly into his chest, driving him against the boulder until the rooster was cornered, and she sank her beak in as far as it would go before drawing it back out slowly on purpose to prolong the unbearable pain that billowed throughout his body. She pulled out her blood-stained beak and drove it again into his neck, almost severing the airway completely before leaving him limp and barely clinging to life on the ground. To make it worse, she twisted his leg with her leg and beak until it was left sprawling out in an odd angle, the hock bending almost opposite to where it should. She kicked dust into his eyes petulantly before running off to attack Hollytalon.

Rainbowflight struggled in the bush, her wings entangled in the thorny brambles. StarryNight sank her claws into Hollytalon's chest, until her claws reached her clavicle where she then cracked each side. She stepped off of Hollytalon and helped Rainbowflight out of the bush, where they both shuffled to their feet, hissing with furiously flashing eyes. Winterfrost, being the giant hen that she was, picked up Hollytalon by the wing and swung her head-first into the boulder, knocking her out.

Nettlefang came back around to pick up more of the injured, and saw StarryNight. He snarled at her and made a very sinister and strange sound in return. The rooster picked her up and ran her head into a boulder, leaving a huge crack in her skull. He held her down by standing on her legs, while mauling, tearing, and breaking them apart, he dug his beak straight through her neck until the tip was seen through the other side. He crushed and bit all of the contents in her throat until nearly everything was damaged inside, including her airways. For the finishing touch, he stabbed her chest with his spurs until she bled so much she was knocked out. Nettlefang picked up who he needed to and fled into the shadows; not to be seen anywhere.

Hollytalon slowly regained some conciousness, while PearlClaw and Salmonscale took care of RainbowFlight and Winterfrost. Salmonscale took Winterfrost by the wing and stunned her to the ground. He dug his talons through the large hen's neck until most of her throat was damaged. Then, he wrapped his cluctches all the way around it, squeezed it, and twisted the neck around until the whole thing broke and went limp. Since he also damaged several nerves along the way, the control of her body was limited and she was tingling and burning all over. To make matters worse, he dug his spurs deep into the top of her spine until it was separated from her skull.

All while Salmonscale was taking care of Winterfrost, PearlClaw was doing the same to Rainbowflight. She pulled her wings from her body unaturally, until they were dislocated and split in certain areas. The hen took her by the legs and bent them until a healthy snap could be heard, also digging her stubby, yet sharp, spurs through her hocks. The muscles became torn and exposed, while an unbarable pain could be felt all over. She moved to her neck and twisted it around until it too made a loud snap. PearlClaw squeezed down Rainbowflight's shattered neck, causing her to give up and faint from the loss of air, blood, and the amount of pain inflicted to her body.
