Believe it or not, I'm only 20 minutes away from a big city, despite all of the farms that are near me. But that's a good thing, food is fresher that way and you know it's local.

I can drive for about an hour in along a particular main road, and I'll be out into the country. They have some nice fresh veggie stalls along that highway, we've stopped at a couple before.

Well, next time, move there!

it'll be a good experience for you!

Craaaazy! *pokes Crazy* Why don't we swap places for a while, come live in the middle of the city surrounded by some nice traffic with planes roaring overhead when the wind's right - it'll be good for you!

This hunk of ol' scrap metal is going extremely slowly and has very poor connection to the server.

"Huh?" he mumbled to himself before lifting his head, "Oh, hello there!" he said as he lumbered closer to where she was. "Yeah, if you tell me a little about yourself first, I need to know who I'm allowing to stay within my borders." he added with a smile. Beckoning with his wing, he turned for his den, "Come come, there's better privacy in my den."

Duskcloud seemed to be running back and forth from the forest to camp, each time with a small tree sapling in her wings, with each she would carefully plant along the border.

Ahhh, there we go! I knew you'd come round eventually

Seriously, traffic is actually quite soothing. Doesn't the quiet get creepy? I went on holiday in a remote coastal town with only about two houses occupied at the time, and the wind, insects and the sound of the lapping ocean in that empty place was really weird......... thank goodness for the TV!

it's soooo the opposite over here! I was once at my cousins' house for a sleepover ( they live in the city) all the light, traffic, cars, garbage trucks, everything drive me insane! i didn't get a wink of sleep that night! Anything over the sound of someone snoring will keep me awake! ( now if it starts while i'm sleep, thats another matter ) What a relief it was to get back to the countryside where the peace and quiet rules.

I couldn't stand it. It'd be like the rest of humankind had vanished off the face of the earth! There was actually not a SPECK of light in that coastal town - in the night, you could seriously crash into the wall and you'd never even notice you'd walked towards it!
It's good to hear the vehicles on the highway that's five minutes west of my place

When the wind's right, we get planes over here too. They rumble along on the horizon.
