Wildheart stayed aloof as he was on border patrol. His head jolted upward and he looked around, but, seeing nothing and hearing no more, he resumed his business and kept walking. Patchwork stayed where he'd thought he'd heard a noise, convinced that there was something lurking in the undergrowth. His pupils dilated as he examined the bushes gingerly, his colorful hackles flared just slightly.
Finally somebody bothers to reply!
Pebblefoot raised her wing to stop the patrol, motioning to where Wildheart, Patchwork and Crystalpaw were crouching. "Don't attack unless I say so" She breathed to the warriors and apprentices behind her.
Yeah! Come on, you guys! Let's do this thing!
Patchwork churred at the vague sound of whispering and the rooster's thick, ivory talons clenched in the soil, his hackles raising to their full height. "Show yourselves," he snapped impatiently, his unblinking gaze shifting from bush to bush.
Wildheart marched to where Patchwork was. "What are you-" his question was cut off by Patchwork hushing him. "Shhh," he hissed, "Someone's here."
