The scream rang relentlessly through Wildheart's head and he felt his heart skip a beat. All other sounds seemed to be waning, ebbing away from hearing range. All he could hear now was his own heartbeat throbbing loudly in his light head. His eyes went wide and blank, locked on the forest; unmoving. He heaved his stiff legs to movement and bolted off for the forest like lightning, struggling to track the source of the sound. The scream bounced off of the trees, making it nearly impossible.
