Wings hanging down

Hmm I have a young bird slightly older than yours with something similar, where I had even wondered if chickens could get angel wing. The tips of her wings hang at a downward angle and the feathers seem too long on the tip section. She does roost but that is the only time she flies up on to anything.

The difference with my situation is that same bird has had a lot of other problems: she had balance issues as a newborn, then later developed wry neck(?) which I treated with vitamins, then broke or dislocated a toe after that. So her strange wings are a minor issue compared to all that!

Oh man! That sounds rough! Poor girl. Makes me thankful my Martha only has droopy wings. Wishing yours the best of luck to overcome all her challenges!

I was very close to putting my bird down at one point, when she couldn't even keep balance while on both feet, but now she can stand on one foot without wobbling and roosts pretty reliably, and is one of my bigger pullets, robust in build.

The wings don't seem to bother her either, though she'll never fly as well as the others.

I often wondered if mine was just growing too fast. Or at least her wings are. Think awkward teenager. But now I do believe that it's a malformation.

Here's a pic of the wing spread out. I felt and looked and didn't see anything that looked abnormal. I compared her with another chick. Only looks weird when I spread her wings out.
I'm gonna go grab one of mine and study wing anatomy. Can you post some pictures of the underside of her wings?
