I think sometimes those folks aren't as active in the forums, perhaps. But I also don't roam in the same areas all the time, lol. So hopefully someone with something awesome to share will find your thread eventually.

Hmm I feel old now. I have read the books... Just because I am more comfortable with young adult fiction than things with adult content. I had no clue they were popular or had fan groups out there, in fact I had to do a double take to make sure I was remembering the right thing! (Still not completely sure.. thats the books with the hatchlings that were faked into being heros and then decided to be them anyway right?) Rainwings were my favorite.

I see there may not be as many WoF fans out there as I thought...oh well...here are a few dragons from a fan tribe which a friend of mine and I made...they're called SkullWings...

Eragon is pretty famous, was kind of the teen dragon books of the early 2,000nds, by Christopher Paolini (i thinkni spelled that right?) They made a movie, but in true Hollywood style it butchered the books. About a land where dragons and humans/elves had made a pact so that there would be mighty warrior teams from the two races, dragon riders, who would basically soul bond, and would keep the peace. But then one goes mad and kills the others and takes over the world, and being essentially immortal becauseof the dragon bond just keeps ruling hidden evil king style, he pretty much wipes out the dragons, sends the elves into hiding, and hords all the unhatched eggs. The story is about a boy many years later who finds a dragon egg. Good series!

The second one, I dont remember who wrote it, but they were a little more older teen/adult. Dragon hatching watches his family get killed/taken, has to learn to survive and grow in a world where dragons are almost extinct and thought of as dumb animals, to the point of believing it themselves, even though they arent. Has some darker parts, but I enjoyed them.

Also, there should totally be some "oak wing" tribe. We have every biome representation BUT temperate deciduous forest.... so unfair.
