Wings of Fire ~The RP: The Three Continents

"Ask away." Fae smiled, sliding into the chair to Venom's right. She didn't plan to start spitting random facts about Pyrrhia- instead, she wanted to hear Venom's interests, and what Venom cared about pertaining to Pyrrhia. Maybe then she would get to know the Queen a little better, and understand the ways of this new continent as well.
Leif reluctantly followed Fae, sitting across from his sister.
Two guards posted themselves casually outside of the door.
“Oh, don’t worry, they’re just the most obvious questions. You asked a few of them anyway.” Venom said, leaning back. “How many tribes, what they’re like, abilities, looks, et cetera.”

"Ah," Fae squinted for a moment, thinking, "six tribes. MudWings- big stupid brown ones. They can breathe fire. Otherwise fairly useless. SkyWings- there fast fliers, great fire breathers. Mostly, they're various shades of red. There are the NightWing, they just lurk in shadown and act creepy," she decided not to tell Venom of their mind reading, prophecy receiving, future hearing skills. Might scare her away. "RainWings, colorful dorks that can spit venom, but they're too scared to use it. Then there are the superior SeaWings and IceWings. SeaWings, like me, are exceptional swimmers." In reality, Fae thought they were the most useless tribe in all of Pyrrhia, but she was their Queen. Had to make them sound somewhat powerful. "And then IceWings. Powerful, wise dragons. I am..." Fae hesitated, wondering how she really wanted this to play out, "I am their Queen as well." It was a half-truth. She was next in line, but she hadn't really gone there to claim her tribe. Yet. She could be too late, and now she didn't have an Animus to threated them with. But they didn't know that.
Leif snorted, then cleared his throat, thinking back to when Raptor's SandWing's had decimated the IceWing army. Oops.

“Mm. Wow.” Venom muttered, two of her eyes down as she processed what Fae had said while the other two watched her. “NightWings. That could be the mysterious black dragon integrated to make our tribe. They don’t sound as powerful as we’ve always been told she was.” She stroked her jaw, looking back up. “So the best tribe is the IceWings? What can they do?” She glanced up at Leif. “Well, I should say, what can YOU do.” She corrected herself.

Leif sighed as Fae gave him a very expectant look, full of warning. "IceWings have freezing frost breath- basically fire, but trade elements." Leif watched Fae with a flippant expression as she nodded. "We are by far the most advanced tribe. Fae is actually my," he paused for dramatic affect, purposely giving Fae enough time to loose her mind, "sister. We are IceWing royals, and because of that," he smiled, his brow arched, still making fierce eye contact with Fae, who had surprisingly made no move to kill him, "and because of that, we have special gifts- special  abilities, easily making us the most superior tribe." He winked at Fae. He would play along with her game.
"Oh, of course not," Fae laughed awkwardly, "What a bunch on bu-"
"Fae, there, can shift into any given dragon," Leif continued, "one form for every Wing. That is how we learned of the third continent. She can turn into some freaky dragons. Whereas I can grow to an enormous size, make my scales impenetrable, heal any wound on myself. Heck, I could breath fire if I truly wanted to." Leif tore his gaze from Fae and turned to Venom. "Goodness, which one do I pick," he muttered loudly, grimacing at the many eyes inspecting him. "We are dangerous, Venom," Leif admitted, his expression becoming more serious, "but we are wise. We can see an ally when we meet one." Leif watched the Queen carefully, not daring to look anywhere near Fae.

Venom didn’t move or speak for a long moment. Her eyes stared unwaveringly at the pair.
“So.” She said slowly, in a soft voice. “You’re.. magic?”

Fae closed her eyes, emitting a low, chocking sound.
"Rather... I'm magic," Leif began.
"No, stop." Fae silenced him, opening her eyes a moment later. "I am sorry, Venom, I did not want to dump this on you all at once," Fae began in a strained tone, "this magic is difficult for one to understand. But it is true." She shifted slightly, the scales on her neck creeping into a brilliant white, much like Leif's, then shifted back, so not to frighten the Queen. "I am sorry. My brother pushes his limits. He should not have said those things. Not yet, anyway."

“Magic dragons.” Venom muttered, watching Fae’s scales shift with fascination. “No, no, this is good. I’m.. learning.” She said, raising her brows at the word.
She ordered one of the guards to fetch a map, and began explaining the Parsealian tribes; “I guess I’ll trade what I know now.” She began, “The FlashWings.” She pointed to the uppermost part of the continent on the retrieved map. “Lightning dragons. Very powerful. You get a real staticky feeling when you’re around them. Ugh-” She shuddered as though a FlashWing stood in the room next to her. “Horrible. They’re one of the original tribes.” She dragged her claw to the easternmost part of the map that showed a large bay. “Shining Bay. LightWings. One of the most advanced tribes I believe. They have a massive white palace on the shore. Half in the water and half out. The place looks like a large white pearl. It’s pretty spectacular, actually.”
She glanced up at Fae.
“They’re rumored to be magic, because many have seen them turn invisible and glow.”
Her claw roved to the middle of the map.
“LavaWings and FireWings.” She said with a tap. “LavaWings live in the lava, and I think they have an underlava language or something.. FireWings, like I said, came from two dragons they practically worship.” She rolled her eyes, and moved her talon further west.
“CaveWings, another original tribe, I guess they’re a lot like your MudWings except they don’t breath fire. The MineralWings live right near them, but they’re pretty insignificant.” She shrugged. “They have something to do with jewels and minerals I guess. Oh yeah, they have four wings like us.”

Fae shook her head, gazing at Venom's wings, "I've truly never seen anything like this- like you. Your eyes... Incredible." She turned back to the map. "Do you all get along, then? Hard to imagine. There are no wars, ongoing or forming?"

“What, do HiveWings not have four eyes? Guess we’re just.. special then. They help us see in the dark.” She said with a harsh laugh. “No, no wars. There was a brief thing where the LavaWings pushed the FireWings away from the lava floes when their tribe grew larger, but they retreated to a volcano nearby.”
Her expression grew testy.
“Why? How are you personally on the subject of.. territory claiming or invasion?”

Fae straightened, smiling carefully, cocking her head slightly. "That is my favorite subject of them all."
