“No” Myrtle shook her head. “But with your permission , I can find a safe place for Cicada to live while this settles out, and you can visit her.”“So is Flytrap taking back her demand?” Pollen said, her eyes shining hopefully.

“No” Myrtle shook her head. “But with your permission , I can find a safe place for Cicada to live while this settles out, and you can visit her.”“So is Flytrap taking back her demand?” Pollen said, her eyes shining hopefully.
“I desperately wish I could..” Pollen said, staring out the window into the darkness of night, obviously aggrieved. “But she’s not allowed to be here in Pantala. She’s gone to Pyrrhia, and she isn’t allowed to return until I die to take the throne. That is, unless her aunt takes it first.” She snorted.“No” Myrtle shook her head. “But with your permission , I can find a safe place for Cicada to live while this settles out, and you can visit her.”
“She hasn’t gone to Pyrria yet. I can stop her. Flytrap banished me from the tribe, so if I help you, it’s fine. I could even go to Pyrria if you want. It would probably be safer.” Myrtle said quickly. She could have an adventure !“I desperately wish I could..” Pollen said, staring out the window into the darkness of night, obviously aggrieved. “But she’s not allowed to be here in Pantala. “If you could convince your queen to change her mind on the matter, I would be deeply indebted to you. But if not, I’d be so thankful if you could at least keep an eye on her. If she goes through the Gift of Unity passage, she’ll end up in either the Sand or Ice kingdoms and I’m afraid neither of those are very pleasant living conditions. Pyrrhia can get a bit rough sometimes, so if you could keep her safe..?” The HiveWing queen looked into Myrtle’s eyes, testing her morality only the way a mother could.
“I wish I could see her myself, but nine hives don’t run themselves..”
Fae straightened, holding the Queen's gaze. "Ah, but of course!" She nodded slowly, "My Kingdom is below water, though. Do you posses the ability to breath water?"Venom held back a smirk. Fae was playing it sweet. She could read her because Venom played the game called life similarly. Fae, though, probably went a little more into the role of being being trustworthy to everyone than Venom cared to admit she did.
*Two can play this game, Fae.* The WebWing queen thought with an inward grin. “Don’t worry, most of my guard know of you.” She said calmly.” You can be assured that you’ll be mostly be treated as honored guests here.”
Venom turned her four eyes northward. “I believe you’ve seen enough of our.. simple kingdom. Perhaps you could share a bit of yours?”
A pair of eyes unsettlingly glanced back. “There’s no way you two have been casually flying back and forth across the ocean every day, so either you’re staying somewhere here in Parsealia or.. you have a magic way to get home.” Her eyes glowed eagerly.
(Let's just say Josh's post in synced surrounding wise with Matty's.)
"There." Leif pointed to the Queen and Fae gave a quick nod, tilting her wings slightly and soaring directly towards Venom.
"Greetings!" She called calmly, stopping a few feet from the Queen and hovering mid air. "I wish to speak with you, Venom. Do you perhaps have the time to meet with us?"
Aphono was well hidden, being trained up from his youth as an expert spy had made it so it was nearly impossible to spot him. His dull colors blended well with the landscape as he listened to the conversation. “Magic…” his thoughts went too many places to count. The elders always said magic was a dangerous thing, something not to be trifled with.Venom held back a smirk. Fae was playing it sweet. “Why did she banish you?” Pollen said, stepping onto the defensive side.“She hasn’t gone to Pyrria yet. I can stop her. Flytrap banished me from the tribe, so if I help you, it’s fine. But the Summer Palace... Again, Leif wanted to comment, knowing Fae was being obscure for a reason, but the nagging feeling was quickly replaced with his loyalty towards her.
"Yes, as I said," Fae continued, "my advisor here does posses a certain amount of magic." She nodded towards Leif and he nodded at Venom, his expression deadly serious.
“I do not.” Venom said with a huff. “But what about this one’s kingdom?” She gestured to Leif. “Or- didn't you say you ruled both?”Aphono was well hidden, being trained up from his youth as an expert spy had made it so it was nearly impossible to spot him. The blue and white streak whizzed past again and came to a screeching, crackling halt on a cliff ledge. when the dust cleared, a medium sized dragon appeared with oddly noisy, sparkling scales. It was a perfect day in the highlands of northern Parsaelia. There was hardly a cloud in the sky, the air was clear and fresh, and the mountain peaks brightly reflected the direct sunlight from above. A single raven soared between the peaks, the only thing moving in the utter stillness of the rest of the landscape.
Suddenly the bird was blasted with a bolt of lightning that seemingly came out of nowhere! But before it could even fall two feet through the air, an electric blue streak whizzed by and a decisive *chomp* was heard. Then, as soon as the stillness was disrupted, it resumed. Once more, nothing stirred across the scene.
Except for a single black feather, softly floating down towards the earth.
“This morning I saw Cicada. She was being threatened by a Leafwing named Cyprus. So I went to Flytrap to tell her. We had an argument, and I called her a twigs for brains.” Myrtle sighed. “ I’ve never really thought of her as my queen since I moved to the outskirts of the Jungle after she lied to me, my grandmother, and my mother. I guess this just confirmed it.”“Why did she banish you?” Pollen said, stepping onto the defensive side.
"And you're waiting for what, exactly?" Cyprus asked, leaping into the air. "You know if I'm not convinced by midnight, I'm gonna toss you across the ocean myself. So get flying already." He growled.“Oof. Thanks. I’ll take you not killing me and calling me a good liar as a compliment.” Cicada said, trying to hide a smirk as she rolled her eyes.
“We weren’t really sitting..” She said, scrunching up her face as she lifted her wings to fly Southeast.
“It was more like- awkwardly flying while she talked. I guess I can show you the place, I don’t have anywhere to be.” She said for a weak attempt at a joke. It made her heart pang with sorrow all the more though she tried not to let it show.
