Wings of Fire ~The RP: The Three Continents

Fae spat again, pushing past Venom.
"I will be back. Enjoy yourself." She sneered, motioning for Leif to follow.
Fae slipped down an alleyway, blending in with the crowd, save the blundering IceWing beside her.
Pretty though for a blue dragon to blend in with yellow ones.. šŸ¤”
(Maybe Aphono could follow them? Or not. Just an idea.)
You know it. ;)

Venom looked at Aphono. She knew he’d know exactly what she wanted him to do.

"Hey. What do you mean, Fae." Leif questioned, curiously.
"About what?" Fae snapped, glancing behind them.
Leif sighed and shook his head. "All I get is questions to my questions when I ask you... questions."
Fae turned quickly into a nearby shop, filled with colorfully beaded rugs, "Really?"
Leif rolled his eyes and Fae slipped behind a large rug, shifting into her SandWing form. She sauntered out, receiving curious looks from the few dragons quietly shopping.
"So, like, does your name change, or are you still Fae?"
The Queen stopped, arching her brow as she met her brothers gaze, "What?" She grinned and slipped out of the store, not looking back as Leif trotted behind her.

Has anyone ever known about her shapeshifting?

Yuppers.

Venom growled deep in her throat, refusing to be intimidated by the shorter dragon. The fact that she was practically stranded here without Fae’s help to get home sent shivers down her spine nonetheless.
Aphono still appeared to be off Fae’s radar, so she hoped the brown dragon could do something stealthy in a case where the SeaWings abandoned them.
ā€œFine.ā€ Venom agreed with a snarl, glaring around at the staring dragons with contempt. ā€œGet on with your little parade, then.ā€

Venom looked at Aphono. She knew he’d know exactly what she wanted him to do.
Aphono nodded to Venom and proudly slunk off into the crowd. he stuck to the shadows and alleyways as not to draw attention, after all no one had ever seen a four eyed dragon resembling a spider before.
He quickly spun a thick strand of white silk and wrapped it around his farther back pair of eyes, then rubbed sandy dirt into the patterns that differed from everyone else here. He hated only having two eyes to see with, it was like seeing only half of the world. He kept far back enough that Fae and the ice dragon wouldn’t notice him, yet close enough to hear what they were saying.
"So, like, does your name change, or are you still Fae?" Said the ice dragon, who somehow looked different than he had the day before. But Fae had disappeared into a rug stand and hadn’t came out. The owner of the shop he assumed, came out a moment later and began chatting with the ice dragon like they’d known each other their whole lives. ā€œMaybe Sandwings are very social? Her voice though…it sounds strangely familiar.ā€ He thought, trying hard to place it even though he knew he couldn’t. He’d taken in so much information and met so many dragons lately that he’d lost count of things. ā€œWhere are you Faeā€¦ā€

Fae sauntered down the crowded streets, Leif following closely behind.
Leif fell into a daze as dragons shouted to each other, a few trying to catch his gaze and motion him over to their stands. He kept his head down, giving any dragon who caught his eye a cool look.
Fae eventually stopped at a large, lovely shop, filled with glass, some tinted all kinds of colors. Leif squinted, amazed at how flat and evenly the glass lay.
A large golden red SkyWing, stood up quickly, from the corner of the store, swaying slightly as he made his way towards them in a hurried, unsteady manner.
"Ah, welcome, welcome, you." He exclaimed. The SkyWing extended his talons, thousands of tiny beaded bracelets adorning his wrists. His long, jeweled earrings jingled together as he motioned around the shop. "Is this- Oh goodness, umm," he glanced behind Leif, "gosh, well, SeaWing Queen? Seen one lately?"
A bit surprised, Leif shrugged, "Nope."
"Oh, boy, brilliant. Boy. I thought you were... Uh, the darkstalker," the SkyWing wiggled his claws forlornly in Leif's direction as he rolled his eyes, turning to leave.
"Ruewen, I am Queen Fae," Fae scoffed, extending her talon, her wrists scales rippling back to SeaWing color.
"Oh. Liar." Ruewen poked Leif in chest. "GOOD GOSH, man, you are flipping cold, MAN. ā€ŠGosh." The SkyWing licked his ringed fingers.
Fae gave him an expected look.
Ruewen rolled his eyes, then smirked. "Alright, it's this way."

(This is gooooood, Josh šŸ™ƒ)

ā€œWhat is that? Mr. Detective LeafWing time?ā€ Cicada said, not following him. ā€œI don’t even know your name! Why should I follow you to the LeafWings? They all wanna kill me anyway!ā€
"I'm not taking you to the village, doofus. I'm tracking Acacia's route back.

Now come on. Stay above the trees."

Aphono blinked hard, maybe it was the tinted glass windows or the heat finally getting to him, but the sandwing accompanying the ice dragon looked like it changed color. Actually, it looked as if it was a whole different species. It looked…exactly like Queen Fae.
Of course He couldn’t tell just by looking through the glass, but there weren’t many different places to spy on them from. Aphono winged his way over to the alley behind the shop where a taller building butted up against it. After landing quietly atop the roof of the taller building, Aphono could see clearly through the patches of palm leaves and old patchwork of a roof.
It was Queen Fae.
A large golden red Skywing seemed to be showing her something, but he couldn’t tell what. What he did know was that Queen Fae was obviously magic as well. ā€œThat’s the voice alright. What are you up to you crazy sea lizard?ā€ He wondered to himself.
