Wings of Fire ~The RP: The Three Continents

The thick, slimy seaweed drifted around Reva as she followed Walrus. They came to a large opening. Everything was quickly coming back to her and she recognized the entrance. Reva dove down into the rocky hole, swimming for a moment and the resurfacing gratefully, gasping for air like a hippopotamus in labor.
Kalmar recoiled as the water below him exploded and a strange RainWing, who's scales quickly morphed into a SeaWing blue green, immerged, looking half drowned. "What arr 'ou?.. Doin'?" Kalmar hissed, crouching low to the ground. The RainWing gestured to herself, shaking her head, wheezing. Kalmar noticed her bioluminescent scales. Good. Probably not an enemy. Probably. "Uh," the RainWing gasped, repositioning herself. Kalmar growled, "Look. Oi'm the one en charrrge 'rrround 'erre. Oi demand 'ou tell me 'ou ye arr this enstant." The RainWing nodded, leaping up on the rocky jetties the huge MudWing hybrid was standing on. "I am Reva of the, uh, NightWings. And the RainWings." She gave him a brilliantly boring look, "Sister to both Queens. I was sent here to ask a request." Kalmar watched her skepticaly. "Very well, go on." "Queen Blackflower asks if the Queen would be willing..." She hesitated, probably noticing how hard Kalmar had flinched. "Queen's dead. Oi sayd oi wus en charge 'round 'ere. Continue." The RainWing gave him a stunned expression. "Dead? But... We warned you..." "Wot?" Kalmar hissed. "At the Deep Palace? The Animus killed her?" "How'd 'ou know 'bout dat?" Kalmar roared. "I was one of the dragons that warned you of his coming!" She spat back. Kalmar hesitated. "'Ou were... You saved us a lot of dragons." He said queitly. "But not the Queen." The RainWing growled softly, glancing behind her as if looking for something. "Wot did the NightWing Queen want?" Kalmar asked, back on topic. "One of our dragons had a vision. A prophecy. Queen Blackflower requests you send us a trio of SeaWings willing to travel. We believe there is a third continent."

(Alright @Duckpip, get over here.)

Walrus shot out of the water, landing on the slippery wet ground with a thump. She opened her wings and shook herself, splashing Kalmar with water droplets, before collapsing to the ground. She had flown across Pyrrhia multiple times in one day, without resting at all. She wanted to stay, with her wings spread out in a large puddle, and with her eyes closed, forever. But, when she decided to open her eyes a moment later, she jumped up with a yelp, expecting to see Reva but instead seeing Kalmar staring back at her. She must have been too tired to even notice him there. "Who are you? Can you tell the queen- can you tell her that two dragons need to talk to her right now and that it's really, really important?" She asked when she gathered herself.

"Shut up." Reva hissed, grabbing Walrus' snout with a talon. "Where the heck have you been? And we're past that part." The MudWing seemed to have his kind large eyes locked on Reva. She shivered and the MudWing sighed. "A third continent..." He said with a wistful expression. There was a fair bit of commotion coming from ahead and Reva leaned to see around the SeaWing leader, releasing Walrus. "Oi!" The MudWing shouted, turning his back to the hybrids, "Wot's goin' on? Gull! Come 'ere." A green SeaWing dove off a pearl white platform with a guilty look, landing beside them. "Sir, it's the Queen's daughter. She's... Missing." "Nonsense. She's 'ot to be somewheres 'round 'ere. Didn't she comes wit us form the Deep Palace?" "No, sir, no sign of her, sir. One of my idiot shoulders decided to start a small search party and now everyone's more terrified then before. They all think he'll come back." "Ee won't. Koi- Queen Koi locked 'em up for goot." The soldier nodded, "I believe that. It's just..." He motioned to the hundreds of other SeaWings milling about in unorganized fashion, "There's so many of them." The MudWing nodded. "Where's Atlantis?" "Don't know, sir. I'll keep an eye out." "Thank you." The SeaWing soldier left and the MudWing turned back to face Reva and Walrus. He stared at them for a moment as if forgetting what they had been talking about and then sighed deeply, dragging a ton down his face. "Look, the kingdom is utter chaos roit neow. I don't think oi can spare any soldiers. Tell your Queens-" "No, wait," Reva intturupted, "that Animus that attacked you? There are no other known Animus' on Pyrrhia that can stop him. This new continent- they could have one!" The MudWing considered this solemnly.

(We need some SeaWings for the journey! Anyone available to make a form for one?)

Walrus rubbed her snout gingerly, frowning. "The queen- Queen Koi isn't... not her, too..." She trailed off. Did she have no queens left? No one to be loyal to, anymore? "Who will take over the kingdom, if you can't even find her daughter?" She asked, growling and swishing her spiked tail around in a puddle. "Okay, now what? How are we supposed to get to this third continent? What do we do now, if there's no queen!?"

Kalmar gave her a sideways glance. "I would be careful if I weres 'ou." He mumbled, "I know 'our no enemy, but dey 'on't." He motioned behind him. "IceWings are..." He scratched his head, "Not a safe topic roit neew." He turned to face Reva. "You may have a trio of SeaWings soldiers to accompany 'our journey to the neew continent."

“A LeafWing?” Ender said, knowing full well that that was the dragon the guard had encountered minutes before. “Let’s go meet him. You take the lead, I’ve never seen one after all.” He nodded to the guard. “Thank you sir.” The SandWing flicked an ear. “Sure.” He said, and turned to watch the fight again.
It took a while for Chenoa to push through the crowd, but she eventually found the leafwing. "who are you?" she asked.

Walrus jumped up, hissing, her IceWing side getting the better of her. "We're not a safe topic? Did you just call IceWings a 'topic'? IceWings are a tribe, just like how SeaWings, and MudWings, and SandWings are- and, not just any tribe. Obviously we're the most superior-" Her hissing subsided, and she drew her wings in close to her body. "I'm sorry," She said quietly, touching her talons to her forehead. "It doesn't even matter. The most important thing right now is that we solve- or, at least figure out how to solve- this prophecy."

It took a while for Chenoa to push through the crowd, but she eventually found the leafwing. "who are you?" she asked.
Cyprus, already unnerved with being in an unfamiliar, dangerous place and with what he had just seen, was not expecting to be spoken to so abruptly.
The young dragon whirled around in barely an instant to face the two Nightwings, dagger drawn. "What do you want?!" He hissed, extremely tense.

Chenoa was quite startled. She stepped back, claws ready to attack if she needed. " sorry to startle you" she replied tensely. "I am Chenoa Spike and this is Ender. By the way, what in the starry skys name is going on here?"
