Aphono tucked his now treated wings in tightly, they were already feeling better, though no where near ready to use again. He looked over the mineralwing and smiled. “Thank you, Quartz. I’m deeply grateful. You may have this as payment.” He said, pulling a necklace with some sort of fang attached to it out of his shoulder pack he wore. “A tarantula fang amulet, very beautiful jewelry where I come from. All the males wear these, the females like the gemstones better.” He said, chuckling again and handing it to Quartz.

Aphono needed politely. “ it was nice meeting you. remember, keep the whole “ me existing thing” a secret. Us webwings don’t like to be talked about, we’d rather stay off of other dragons radars.” And with that he sunk into the shadowed parts of the forest and disappeared. Aphono continued on in his quest to make it back to the Webwing lair alive.
