Wings of Fire ~The RP: The Three Continents

"Oi think it's time... Ah, brother fo'ive me, but she isn't fit ta rule any longer. Oi think it's time we replace our Queen." Kalmar's throat tightened as he said it. How could he speak against the Queen? "But 'ou and I know the problem wit dhat. No livin' relatives." He grumbled.

(Atlantis could maaayyybe use his Animus powers to find a (the closest) relative??)
It doesn’t have to be a daughter (which Koi seems to have none of) it could be any female relative.

Cicada reached down painfully and cut through the remaining vines with her stinger.
She fell to the ground with a thump. “Owww..” she moaned. Her scales were coated in sticky slime from the sundew, and grass blades stuck to her side that she’d fallen on.
She looked up at Cyprus with a wince. “Ah, th- thank you,” She said, entirely expecting him to fly off now that she was free. “You know. For not- leaving me there.”
Cyprus nodded. Whatever.
He knew that all the sundew sap still didn't feel very good, sticking her wings together like that and covering most of her body. "Hold on, I'll be right back." The Leafwing said, going off towards his house once more.

“I’ll be right back?” Cicada repeated after he left. “First I’ve heard that.” The stickiness felt horrible, but she’d wait to wash it off cause apparently the LeafWing wasn’t done.

Cyprus returned with a large bottle of something or other. He left that on the ground and ran over to an elephant ear shrub. Quickly, he chomped off the three largest, strongest leaves and stacked them three-deep. Then he put Cicada on top of that and started dragging her on the leaf sledge to some premeditated location.

Cicada gave him a side-eye. “Uhm.. I can walk..” She said slowly.

"No use getting eight pounds forest debris all stuck to you too." He said. "It's faster this way."
After a while, they reached a warm spring. "Climb in." He said. "Nothing dangerous, just water."
“I wouldn’t think water is dangerous anyway..” Cicada mumbled under her breath, but jumped in the water anyway. It felt good, and she felt her muscles relax. The HiveWing lifted her head out of the water. “So your not going to tell me what your doing with that silk, huh.” She said.

"It's what's IN the water that can be a problem sometimes." The Leafwing said rather practically. "Now just relax and stop talking." He said as he opened the bottle he was carrying and started to wash away all that horribly disgusting stickiness.
The sap scrubbed off and started to disappear as he rubbed the liquid into her scales. It felt good. Her wings were unstuck now. That was an improvement.

Raptor’s tail coiled. She knew that he was right. Unfortunately.
She didn’t let him see the anger that threatened to spill over. Instead, she kept her voice cool.
“Your an animus, IceWing.”
The guards looked surprised, and gripped their spears tightly.
“You didn’t think I noticed that your not affected by the heat anymore? She glanced over his body and a ring caught her eye. You’ve enchanted that ring.” She said. She reached into her black satchel and pulled out a light, silvery tiara. “The gift of strength.” Then she mentioned to her wrists. “The gift of stealth.” Then she pulled out a flat piece of black stone, admiring it.
“It took me forever to find this. The Obsidian Mirror.” The SandWing tossed everything to the floor casually.
“But your just what I need to ensure my proper place in this world.” She glanced around the dusty palace walls. “Which is NOT here.” She spat.
Leif met her eyes, a dangerous, unpredictable look in them. "You want to be Queen?" He hissed queitly.

“Oh.” She said, watching him rub the stickiness off of her scales.
“Why are you doing this?” Cicada asked. “I- I mean, after what we did to you.. it was about a thousand years ago, but.. I still feel like the LeafWing and SilkWing Tribes hate us. I mean, we’re at peace, but you guys coexist better than us.” She looked away from Cyprus. “It’s kind of like we’re outcasts. Sort of. I guess we deserve it.. in a way.”
