The SandWing barked a laugh. “Trees? No. We have cactus if you feel like pulling spikes out of your skin. You won’t find any straight north of here either. Just snow and ice.” He studied Cyprus a moment. “The Tribe I feel like is the most similar to you tree-leafy-grass dragons are the RainWings.”"Hmm. Well, I never cared too much for politics, so I'm just here wondering where I can get some food. And maybe find a tree. Do you guys have trees over here?"
"Got it. Thanks." Cyprus said as he made a few mental notes. He flew down over to the east wall marketplace and bought a few light food items. The SandWing barked a laugh. “Trees? Then he rolled his eyes. “Well, not the RainWing dragons in particular, but their home in the Rainforest.” He pointed his nose in the direction. “Southeast.” The burly guard said.
“And we a have a market over outside of the east wall. And one last bit of advice? Watch out for snakes, don’t buy dragonflame cacti, and if you get stung by a SandWing-“
The guard showed him a dangerous-looking barbed tail,
“Ask for the juice of a brightsting cactus.”
*It’s my tent.* Ender finished, and listened to Chenoa a moment. *How come your tutor calls you a princess?* He thought. *Unless I’m mistaken, your not a RainWing/NightWing hybrid, and not royalty?**Oh!* Chenoa thinked, *I never noticed!* She wondered why she had been so ignorant. She had been with Ender for almost a day! Once again, she heard her tutor's voice in her head saying *" A princess always looks at the little details"* and remembered the day when she had not seen the pattern on a set of tiles. *Those were wonderful times* she thought, and for the first time in forever, she felt a surge of saddness in her heart.
*tents! how wonderful! I once had a tutor, and he taught me how to be a proper princess. I am not royalty at all. No! Quite the opposite actually! And as far as I know, I'm not a hybrid. I'm a full Nightwing. I'm just staying with the Rainwings for a while. Then I'll move on to another tribe.* She thought. *How much longer till we get to the Sandwings?**It’s my tent.* Ender finished, and listened to Chenoa a moment. *How come your tutor calls you a princess?* He thought. *Unless I’m mistaken, your not a RainWing/NightWing hybrid, and not royalty?*
*Cool.* Ender said, before turning to the horizon. The faint outline of the SandWing fortress and city was visible, but Ender shook his head. *Sorry, I’m really nearsighted, but I know we’re close.* His mind seemed to blush on the inside. *I suppose I should get glasses but.. I don’t really want to. Too much trouble.**tents! how wonderful! I once had a tutor, and he taught me how to be a proper princess. I am not royalty at all. No! Quite the opposite actually! The Leafwing flew up to the top wall and took a heading. The southeast was in front of him, a little to his right."Got it. Thanks." Cyprus said as he made a few mental notes. He flew down over to the east wall marketplace and bought a few light food items.
Chenoa noticed his embarrasment and smiled. *there's nothing to be embarrased about glasses. I'm sure you could get a pair from the Humans you talk about. I know my tutor had them.**Cool.* Ender said, before turning to the horizon. The thick, slimy seaweed drifted around Reva as she followed Walrus. They came to a large opening. Everything was quickly coming back to her and she recognized the entrance. Reva dove down into the rocky hole, swimming for a moment and the resurfacing gratefully, gasping for air like a hippopotamus in labor.Walrus dipped her head as a sort of nod, then flashed her bioluminescent scales back at the guards, along with a few signals with her talons. One of the guards growled quietly, but nodded. Walrus swam through the kelp.
@ChikyboyLeif swore and the IceWing reappeared in front of him. "Dude," he sighed, dragging his talons down his face, "there were like thirty-seven different ways you could have worded that. Ugh. My name is Leif. Leif of the IceWings." He watched the SeaWing expectantly.
