Leif staggered, slamming into a palace wall. The wall collapsed, the palace tottered. Leif scrambled back, adrenaline surging through him as the floors above slumped to the left, spires crashing down into the buildings below. The fourth floor plummeted, sliding into the third and coming to a stop. Leif could feel the marble floors tremble, as if holding it's breath. "Freeze, Cinta." Leif turned to Cyprus waving his hands in a shrugging gesture, "Well, that worked out nicely." He glanced around. "Where's my Queen?"

Leif staggered, slamming into a palace wall. The wall collapsed, the palace tottered. "Sorry, not available today." He said, turning to leave.

Leif sighed. "Brightscales, come here." He pointed at Cyprus, "Freeze." He glanced at Ender, "Freeze. Heck, you guys are hard to kill."

"That's basically been my job description for the past 23 years." Cyprus said, rolling his eyes. "I've gotten kinda good at it."

Leif smiled. "Heck, I like you."

(Okay, I think we need to wait for Matty with Brightscales and Blackflower... @Blue Raptor. So, continue in the morning?)

"Pssht." Cyprus snorted. "Feeling's not mutual, that's for sure."

Ender froze suddenly like a living statue. He could still hear Leif talking, and see what was in front of him, but every muscle in his body was solid as a rock.
Brighscales walked herself over to Leif and stood in front of him, her eyes squeezed shut and scales whirling with black and green.

Blackflower groaned when Leif collapsed into the palace wall. THAT was going to take forever to rebuild. “You can’t even hear me!” She cried in vain when the animus had pounced on her sister the first time.
She watched Leif freeze Cinta, and the NightWing and LeafWing nearby. She grumbled as she watched Brightscales fearfully walk herself to the IceWing with her eyes shut.
“Let’s see if he’ll notice this.” She muttered, and flew up to attacking Leif’s face, clawing at his eyes.
(And yeah, he will notice. He can even touch her, just not see her)

Brighscales walked herself over to Leif and stood in front of him, her eyes squeezed shut and scales whirling with black and green.

Blackflower groaned when Leif collapsed into the palace wall. THAT was going to take forever to rebuild. “You can’t even hear me!” She cried in vain when the animus had pounced on her sister the first time.
She watched Leif freeze Cinta, and the NightWing and LeafWing nearby. She grumbled as she watched Brightscales fearfully walk herself to the IceWing with her eyes shut.

Yep. It won’t kill him, but it will injure his eyes. Kinkajou spat venom on one of Darkstalker’s eyes and it burned out until he healed it.

Enchant Darkstalker's scales to be invulnerable to harm of any sort, to heal instantly if injured, and to shield him indestructibly from any threat of death.
To make himself immortal.
To be immune to enchantments by all other animi.
He can get hurt anywhere he doesn’t have scales, but it won’t kill him.

Leif gasped, staggering back. He shielded his eyes, blinking in horror as he strained to see. "No, no, no," he whispered. The pain tingled, just settling in when the world came into focus once again. Leif exhaled with relief, feeling tentatively around his eyes. He dragged a talon down his face, sighing heavily. "Reveal yourself." Of course it didn't work. Leif fumbled for Brightscales. His talons closed around her neck. "Let's try this again." Leif cleared his throat, squinting. "Reveal yourself or she dies."
