"NO!" Cinta shrieked, grabbing the RainWing's shoulders desperately, "Don't go! He'll kill you, too! He'll kill us all." She sobbed all the harder, shaking uncontrollably. Some distant part of her scoffed as she trembled with fear, scoffed at what a ridiculous, emotional dragon she was. But all decency was long gone. Cinta was horrified, and unable to contain her panic. She had an entire tribe to rule. Queens didn't run away and hide. A selfish, defensive side of her objected: Leif would just use her to kill other dragons, like he had tried with the LeafWing. She was doing the right thing, and protecting the others. So many conflicting emotions. Cinta shuddered, pulling away from the RainWing, stammering apologies.
