Wings of Fire ~The RP: The Three Continents

“So what are you asking me to do Flytrap?” Pollen said bitterly. “I will NOT execute my own dragonet.” The LeafWing queen took in a deep breath through her nose. “Then what.” She said coldly. “What are you willing to do? Keeping in mind the fact that your little ‘princess’ snuck out, snuck into the Leaf Kingdom, lured our queen out by acting all innocent and stuff, and literally MURDERED HER.”
The HiveWing queen sighed, struggling for words. “Well.. I don’t know.” She said quietly, “I suppose we could lock her in the prison..” she grimaced, obviously struggling with the idea of imprisoning her own dragonet.
Flytrap frowned. “No. That’s not good enough. Who’s to say you won’t just let her right out? Your word is meaningless to me, HiveWing. If you wont settle for death, then you’d better agree with me on this choice. I have an idea..”
Cicada looked up when her heard the thump of talonsteps on the treestuff beneath her; Queen Flytrap and her mother walked into the gathering room. The LeafWing walked past her convoy with her head held high, giving Cicada a side glance with a snarl on her lip. “Let’s go.” She said, sweeping towards the balcony with a gesture of a wing. “My mother’s death will be justified by tonight.” She flew out the balcony with a flap of pink-tinged wings as the convoy followed her out.
Somehow, her words made Cicada’s heart sink into her chest, swallowed up by a pit of dark fear. Her head quickly whipped around to look at Queen Pollen, who’s head was low as she stared sadly at the floor.
Cicada’s breathing quickened as her heart raced. “M- mother?” She whispered, feeling like no one could hear her as her mind spun.
Pollen squeezed her eyes shut, but when she spoke her voice was clear. “My dragonet, Princess Cicada, is to be exiled to the Distant Kingdoms until she claims her heritage as queen when I die, unless another successor takes the throne. She is banned from challenging the throne. Effective midnight.” Pollen choked out the last words and fled the room.

“Wait- hey!” The guard on Cicada’s right tried to grab her as she ran past, clearly not having expected her to bolt, but she was too slow. The black dragon whipped her tail out of range of the guard’s reach and threw herself off the balcony, catching herself midair with buzzing wings as she flew directly north; towards the open savanna expanse between the LeafSilk kingdoms.

Cyprus snapped out of his deep thinking as the two queens left the room with Cicada. He slipped out behind them, his eyes widening in alarm as the Hivewing princess bolted.
He would follow her. Not with all the noise and confusion of the guards' chase, but from below, with his own special talent for stealth and silence. The long grass was a perfect cover as he sped along the ground, hopping into a low glide from time to time.

Cicada could barely breath. Her heart seemed to catch in her throat, and hardly any oxygen seemed to make it though to her lungs. Tears stung her eyes and blinded her, but she wasn’t quite crying. She couldn’t find even think about crying. She couldn’t think at all. Her mind was numb, not registering the slowly lowering sun or the several miles she flew before her wings gave out.
She allowed her wings to, weirdly, just stop working a couple feet over the ground as she collapsed with a thump. She stumbled a bit, but didn’t bother attempting to stand as she flopped onto the ground, the tall grasses rising above her head.
She let herself go limp then suddenly, and the horrible suddenness of what what going to happen to her came washing over her conscience in a sudden wave as the tears came and sobs began racking her body.

Blorf. Ooof. Ugh. :th

Effie was by the river. It was her favorite place to be, especially after a performance, like the one a few hours before. Dancing was once a hobby, but now it became her job. Not that she didn’t enjoy it, but it just could sometimes be tiring. Effie often wanted to go to Pyrria, but her job always kept her back.
Suddenly the FireWing started singing.
“Starry night sky,
way up up so high,
And me down here far below
I’ve no place to be
I’ve no place to go
I’m just out here all alone
Should I go over to Pyrria ,
Up to the sand kingdom ?
Or should I settle down and stay right here ?
Or fly far off away?
Big bright moon
You show no gloom
But why am I so sad?
So many tribes
So many places
Bun not one can I roam
Should I become the lead of my small group
Of dancers not like me
Or should I go explore the big wide world
Or maybe just be me!”
Effie lifted off into the sky and headed towards the ocean, where she would be able to see Pantala, and kept on singing, but much louder.
“ I don’t need ember scales
Or burning claws
Or fire breathing powers
I can leave this home
And go somewhere
Maybe then I will be free!”
Effie landed at her destination after about 45 minutes. She finished her song with "Starry night sky, Way up up so high, I'm down here far below. There's a place to be, a place to go, and I won't be all alone."
Suddenly a star shot across the sky. This was the sign! When a comet leaped through the sky, Chenoa would return. *Or more specifically* thought the FireWing dragon, *we would meet again.* This meant that Effie could go to Pantala, or better yet Pyrria, and would have a legitimate reason to! "Thanks be to Peril!" she whispered to the chilly ocean breeze, and turned to fly back to he tribe.

You can’t see Pantala from Parsealia.
Where did the comet-prophecy thingy come from??
