Wings of Fire ~The RP: The Three Continents

Leif sighed heavily. "Huh." He grunted, his body still limp against throne, his legs and neck hooked over the arm rests as he lay lopsided. He was silent for a moment, then cleared his throat. "I'm, uh, I'm..."
He could feel Fae silently and absolutely LOOSING he ever loving mind. All they'd have to do it kill this dragon if it got out of hand.
Easy.

Leif removed his arm from across his face, squinting at Deepstar. "My name is L-" he chocked on his own tounge, sitting up abruptly to cough.
Fae looked away quickly as Leif gagged and retched, vomit splattering the floor.
"Oh- good heavens," the Prince groaned, panting at tiny coughs racked his shoulders. "Oh, good heavens," he repeated quickly through a sharp exhale.
"Three moons, Lyx," Fae exclaimed, giving her brother a worried look, "are you quite alright?"
"L-" A tremor shook through the IceWing's body and he half gagged again, waiting just a moment, then slowly lifting his head to give Fae a questioning, dangerous look.
Fae cocked her head with mock disgust, then smiled gently at the Prince and turned back to Deepstar. "I apologize! It seems my friend here has eaten too many-"
Leif gripped the sides of the throne, panting, stuttering slightly. "L,l,l,l,l,l..." He tried. "L-" he clamped a talon quickly over his mouth.
Fae groaned. "Stop. Just stop, okay?"
The Prince nodded, slouching back with a worried, yet dangerous look.
"I'm sorry." Fae apologized, turning back to Deepstar yet again. "He jests, of course. He was not with the attacking IceWings." She cleared her throat, rolling her shoulders slightly. "So, tell me more about yourself. Your occupation, perhaps?"
Deepstar began as the queen led her away from the main room and away from the sickly Icewing. She knew if she were queen she would demand a new “ambassador” as soon as possible.
She wanted answers and also to keep an eye on the odd Icewing, lyx apparently.
“I work with my mother in the oyster fields, adopted mother…that is. But I’m sure I can do whatever it is you assign me to.” She said with a small hopeful smile.

"Excellent." Fae nodded slowly, "Now, I would like for you to be in regular contact with my other newly appointed advisors-"
"THE FRICK." Leif gasped, stiffly returning to his relaxed position on the throne and swinging his legs back over the arm rest.
Fae cleared her throat rather aggressively, "There is a feast tomorrow night in honor of the rebuilding of the Deep Palace," she continued, "you are welcome to stay here until tomorrow, but as I told you, I need you to stay quiet regarding your position."
" Faaaeee," Leif growled.
The Queen whirled around to face him, "Shut up. Shut. Up. Lyx."
Leif raised his talons in exasperation, rolling his eyes and sighing. He threw his arm across his eyes dramatically, "Dluuuuggghhhuu."
Fae turned back to Deepstar. "None can know of your new position. Not anyone. Do you understand?"

Deepstar nodded along as the queen talked, glancing toward the suspicious Icewing every now and then. “Yes your majesty, I understand.” She said, dipping her head. “Is there anything else I can do for you while I’m here?” She asked, wanting to make sure before leaving. She didn’t know exactly how to be the best advisor, but she would figure it out. “I’ll ask Kalmar, but I can’t let him know of my position. Why does this feel so wrong? Is the queen covering for lyx? No. No she can’t be, she has to be a good queen. If not then….the sea kingdom could be doomed.” She kept these thoughts to herself while waiting for the queens reply.

"No. Thank you for coming, Deepstar. I expect a report regarding any news from the city in a week." Fae nodded towards the SeaWing as the guards pushed open the double doors.

Cicada lay silently among the tall savanna grass, the light of dusk quickly diminishing. Her head was propped up on her crossed talon while she stared with bleary eyes at the swaying grasses, trying to organize her thought process.
Should she try to go back? She lifted her wings a little before dropping them back down; they were already sore from flying so long. She wouldn’t be able to make it back before nightfall. She wasn’t ALLOWED to make it back after that.
Just that thought made her insides burn. She blinked back pinpricks of tears at the corners of her eyes, refusing to cry again.
Where could she go then? The Hives covered the whole Southern half of Pantala, like the LeafWing would ever let her in the jungle, and the either of them would surely get a report from Queen Hawkmoth if she tried to hide out in the Silk Kingdom. Would she really have to go to the Distant Kingdoms? She hadn’t seen many of those dragons, or even knew if they were friendly.
She’d seen the SandWing and IceWing queens, Fennec and Owl. They both seemed.. okay. Queen Owl was probably a little nicer, but they both looked dangerous.
She hated the thought that she had to figure out where she’d be most welcome, but she couldn’t deny that she’d thought of it before.
“Guess the Sand Kingdom is the most similar to the savanna.” She mumbled to herself, tracing a map on Pyrrhia in the now-cold dirt with one claw as she propped her head with her other talon.
She wished she could live in the Silk Kingdom. She gazed Northwest longingly. Queen Hawkmoth was blind, but it did nothing to diminish her sweetness towards other dragons, even HiveWings. Cicada liked her.
“I hate this.” She groaned, laying her head on the ground and covering her eyes with her talons.
A rather abrupt snort issued from the long grass behind Cicada. "You would, wouldn't you." A very dry, sarcastic voice remarked from somewhere to her left, with a barely audible tinge of bitterness to it. "Probably shoulda thought of that before you decided to murder royalty, HIVEWING."

The black dragon nearly jumped out of her scales when she heard the voice behind her. She scrambled up and whirled around, yellow eyes wide.
“D- uh, I didn't!” She spluttered, not seeing the LeafWing for a moment in the tall grass before spotting his green scales.
