Wings of Fire ~The RP: The Three Continents

"We will reappear in a small library in the Summer Palace. Stay close. Leif should have collected and prepared the royal guard by now." Fae took a deep, steadying breath. "Is everyone ready?"
For some reason, the mention of guards set Venom’s nerves on edge, but she nodded as the two guards put their talons on Fae’s.

Fae slipped her talon through the chain, holding her breath as they reappered in the library. She took a few steps away from the other dragons, releasing Venom's talon and shrugging off the other guards around her. She shivered, physical touch not being one of her strengths.
Leif clapped from where he leaned against the doorway, the Royal guard standing in an eager, huddled group behind him.
"Oh, good heavens," a guard whispered as the small crowd behind Leif shifted uncomfortably, looking to their Queen.
Fae met their gaze, giving them a quick look of assurance and warning as she turned back to Venom.
"Well," she smiled gently, "here we are. Welcome to the Summer Palace."

Aphono felt the world shift around him before suddenly being thrust into an unfamiliar room filled with books, it looked nothing like the Webwing library. “We’re not….underwater are we? I hate those underwater caves, the Cavewings use them as dungeons and I’m not a fan.” He said, glancing around the room curiously.

"We are not." Fae replied shortly, not bothering to so much as glance at the WebWing guard, her eyes locked on Venom.

Venom took her talon back and stepped away from the group, glancing all around.
The Summer Palace was enclosed, but still felt open. The smell of salty water filled the air, and a leafy green shadow speckled the east wall. It reminded Venom of the Light Kingdom.
“Very impressive.” She remarked, looking up at the ceiling and spiraling stone columns holding the whole pavilion up.

"It is." Fae agreed proudly. "Tell me, Venom, dear, what do you wish to see? We may explore the area, but I want both my and your guards on full alert. Precautions, darling, I'd hate for anything to... Happen."

“Of course.” Venom said, lifting her head slightly higher. “Whatever interesting things there are to see here; the throne room, the veiw, etcetera. Perhaps a map to look at.”
She glanced a look at the SeaWing Royal Guard, looking them up and down. They looked far less fearsome then her soldiers, she barred her teeth proudly.
The WebWing queen suddenly lunged towards them with a hiss, opening her four eyes wide and flaring her wings to which most of the guard winced away from or jumped in surprise.
Venom laughed and slid back, turning her back on the startled and embarrassed guard.
“Let’s go now, Fae, shall we?” She chuckled. “I shouldn’t be gone from my tribe too long.”
