Wings of Fire ~The RP: The Three Continents

Deepstar tried to keep the shock off her face. “Oh wow…of course, Your Majesty! I-I…the honor is mine.” She finally managed. A part of her WAS shattered by the way she had been called a hybrid, like it was some horrible thing, but she tried hard to ignore it, like she always had. Her father and mothers words replayed in her head. “You’re beautiful the way you are, my little sea star.”
They’d always comforted her in times of depression.
“Thank you.” She said gratefully.
"Of course," Fae nodded, "stay close and you are welcome to speak, so long as you are respectful towards Venom." Fae lowered her voice, "She is dangerous, Deepstar. Watch yourself. I need to go rescue Venom from my ridiculous friend."
Aphono’s eyes widened slightly. “ A hybrid…hmm. That’s interesting. I wonder of what species..” he thought, prompting a question. “What other dragons are there on this continent?” He asked The ice dragon, also trying to divert his attention from Venom. From the looks of it, The ice dragon thought he could dig information out if his Queen. “And what’s your name?”
Leif rolled his eyes, tearing his gaze away from Venom. "Uh, breeds, like?" He questioned duly as Fae dived down beside him.
"Pick the pace up if you are able." Fae ordered, "We will rest at sundown."

Venom blinked her eyes, trying to adjust to the brightness of day and the overwhelming reflection of the sun shining off the ocean water. When she finally managed to focus on the nearing mainland shoreline, she realized that Fae’s IceWing counterpart, Leif, was awkwardly close to her.
“Back off, ice dragon.” Venom hissed, dipping towards the right. She spotted the SeaWing queen conversing with the odd hybrid-type dragon, who had a wonderful look of shock on her face. Venom huffed. There were mountains within sight straight ahead; flat, tree-speckled swamps to their right, and a jungle to their left. There wasn’t any desert in sight, so she figured that it was past the mountain range.

Leif raised his talons defensively. "Geez, relax a little," he laughed, veering slightly to the left. He noticed Deepstar's expression and caught the wind, falling back towards her.
"Ay. Still cannot get over the freaky four eyes?" The prince questioned, crossing his eyes for a moment, then rolling them dramatically.
They were out of earshot of the Queens ahead. A few SeaWing guards dropped back as well, staying close to both Leif and Deepstar, possibly by Fae's was order, but Leif wasn't sure.
"What you thinking, guys?" He asked giddily.

The soldiers smiled, a couple shrugging, glad to see Leif as more of a peer than respected royalty. The prince's presence had not been made very well known throughout the Kingdom. Though there was talk of a curious IceWing living in the throne room, which was not entirely true, no one knew what he was doing, though some said he was an ambassador.
"I dunno, mate," a guard started quietly, "seems awful strange to me. Where'd they come from, ay?"
The IceWing opened his mouth to reply, then hesitated. He gave the guard a funny look, then shrugged, "Koi enchanted some stuff to take her to the third continent." Leif wiggled his claws mysteriously.
The soldiers were appalled at how carelessly he spoke of Koi. One had even started the "may she rest in peace" when Leif interrupted him, continuing on with his explanation.
"A third continent?!" A guard exclaimed through a thick accent. He jostled Deepstar's shoulder, "You know anything about this? Have you gone there?"

He seemed to be asking either dragon, but Leif was silent, waiting for Deepstar to reply.

Deepstar nodded her agreement to Fae as she went to Venom once more. The conversation was getting odd, especially with the Icewing, Lyx or whatever his name was. “I’m going to shadow the Queen?!? How am I going to do that? Just stay here and keep Everything in order. You’ll be fine. Those dragons…what were they called? Webwings…I wonder if they are related to the silkwings. Or hivewings…or both..” questions flooded her mind.
“No Poseidon, I don’t. I haven’t heard anything about this, and I haven’t been there either. Look at them! They’re so interesting, like spider-dragons…” she said, the last part almost in a whisper.

Aphono nodded toward the ice dragon before he ignored him to talk to the Seawings. “Ehem…ice dragon? What is your name? I don’t want to have to call you Ice dragon forever. Mine is Aphono. And yes, please. Tell me about the different dragons living here.” He said with an air of authority, though lesser then the queens.

"No wait- Ice dragon actually sounds sick. Just, like, call me that forever." Leif laughed, saluting Aphono.
"The different dragon breeds- ah, uh, huh. Okay, so there's SkyWing's, they fly and get angry and breath fire, there are NightWings, and they jus all around FREAKY. Like, they mind read and tell the future and... Oh, there's one more, maybe not, um, RainWings spit venom and change colors, MudWings breath fire, OH, so do the NightWings, and they lay around in the mud all day. Then there's SeaWings... They swim and have night vision, right? Right?" Leif laughed and poked Deepstar, rolling his eyes and clearing his throat, bringing it down to a more serious level, "And lastly there are IceWings. IceWings can breath out frost breath and ice. It's the opposite of fire, but leaves the same affect on scales. Some of us are magic as well." Leif arched his brow, knowing the infamous IceWing was still a fresh wound for the SeaWings.
Curiosity got the best of him. The prince lowered his voice, using a more serious tone, "So, when the IceWing Animus came... What happened? Did you lose anyone?"
He looked to Deepstar as the guards murmered a few mismatch answers.

Deepstars smile disappeared so quickly that she didn’t know what to do with her face for a second, before emotion took over and a sorrow rage took its place. “This has to be him. He’s the one that got Cove killed.” She wanted to rip his face off and smash it into the coral below. But if she was right, he was an animus, which means she couldn’t do a thing to him. Instead she would have to find a weakness, but later. She brought herself close to his face, a small shower of sparks dancing behind her barred teeth. “My little brother.” She said, almost accusingly. Aphono’s face told her he had siblings as well from the look of understood sadness, but he had a question he was desperate to ask her as well.

Leif raised his talons defensively. "Geez, relax a little," he laughed, veering slightly to the left. He noticed Deepstar's expression and caught the wind, falling back towards her.

“So what kind of dragons live in this place Fae?” Venom questioned after Leif had dropped back and begun talking with the hybrid-type dragon and Aphono. They’d all began flying over the swamplands now.

@Bakbuk

Scrollreader was flying over the Mud Kingdom to take in the sights. He could see the diamond spray delta in the distance. Glancing down, he spotted a MudWing flying low below him. Suspicious, he swooped down to see what the brown dragon was doing . B

Canebrake was busy making a few repairs to the outside of his small house out in the swamp when he saw a dark shadow pass over. Looking up, he saw the rather studious-looking Nightwing flying above him and grinned, waving as he called out a friendly greeting.
"Hallo! What brings you to this part of the swamp, friend? I dare say you're quite a ways from home." He remarked.
