“I don’t know if you’ve had the same sense as me,” Venom muttered, keeping a pair of eyes on the pair. “But I’ve had a bad feeling ever since we arrived here. Just.. be cautious is all.”
“I was hoping to advise you the same way. Fae seems smarter than she lets on, and the ice dragon is hiding something. I’ll make sure to tell the guards to be extremely attentive and ready, a “Den of thieves” sounds less then inviting.” Aphono replied. The sand dunes were making him slightly uncomfortable, there was NOWHERE to hide. Nowhere to spy from, other then a few large cacti.

(@Blue Raptor, please shed some of your all knowing knowledge on the situation.)
Eh? Oh. This.

Venom nodded towards the two. “Listen in when you can. Thank you, Aphono.” They we’re nearing the city.

Aphono nodded with a grin, hiding his dislike of the sandy terrain behind a mask. He informed his trusted Webwing companions of the circumstances and was assured they would be focused. It felt like hours in the hot sun but was probably no more than 30 minutes as they neared the fairly large city, if you could call it that. Flying overhead had almost all the curious dragons below gasping, jaws slack as the Webwings flew in. Most wore nasty unhealed scars, like they wanted their wounds to scar in the ugliest way to make themselves seem tough. “Hmm, looks dangerous. That barb could do some real damage, A fair match for my fangs. Oh there’s a mud dragon, Mudwing I guess. And..those are interesting..” He thought, spotting several different dragons, including Sandwings, Mudwings and a new fiery looking one with giant wings. “Oh that must be a Skywing! Poseidon said they’re fairly dangerous because of their fire. Some web to the mouth would fix that. Looks big though, pretty strong if i had to guess.” He evaluated the different dragons quickly even as they stared at the group that was just coming in to land.

Fae landed dramatically beside Aphono and the Queen, a hint of a smile on her expression. "Well," she scoffed breathlessly, "here we are." Fae motioned towards the blundering NightWing stalking down the road, double taking when he noticed the WebWings. "As I said, every dragon kind in Pyrrhia is here. Come, let us continue our exploration. I am told there is a merchant here selling the finest glass in the land. He can even stain it! Blue, purples, reds. Remarkable." Fae smiled towards Venom, a look of concern crossing her face, "You aren't too hot, I hope, dear? Come, let us fetch some water before we continue."

Venom followed Fae into town, holding her head high as several SandWings stalked past, muttering to each other with narrowed eyes as they stared at her.
“I hope you didn’t come here just to shop.” She said breathlessly to the SeaWing queen. “I still don’t see why we need to be here.” She glanced back at Aphono and the guards, who seemed to be as immensely tense as she was.
As they went deeper into the town, towards the oasis, Venom could sense the stares of all the dragons in town and had a constant uneasy feeling that they were being followed, but every time she turned around, no one was there.
*Something’s not right..* she though, actually nervous for once.
Suddenly, she stepped over beside Fae and pushed her towards a vacant market stall, her claws pressed firmly into the sea dragon’s neck. “Alright, Fae, what’s going on here?” She hissed quietly; eyes narrowed. “There’s no way you’d drag me out here for no reason. What are you up to?”
