I would like to trim my flocks wings to help keep them contained. Will they still be able to get on the roost ok. Bottom of poop board is bout 30in high.

Most chickens can jump 3-4 feet while their wings are clipped. You should be fine.

Agreed. 30" is likely no problem. If it is you can always add an intermediate stair for them.
