Congratulations to all SIXTY SIX BYC members on their fantastic entries in the MY FAVORITE CHICKEN PHOTO CONTEST! The member with the highest number of votes will win a set of PERSONALIZED EGG CARTON LABELS designed by ADozenGirlz and will be announced on Sunday, May 30th!
I completely understand disappointment if some of your favorites didnt make the top five, but some of mine didnt make it either! There were just too many great ones. Thank you ALL for your participation! Congratulations to the following five finalists and good luck in the voting!

Contest Details:
This is a contest to see whose FAVORITE CHICKEN PHOTO is also OUR Favorite Chicken photo!
The winner of the contest will receive 24 CUSTOM EGG CARTON LABELS, designed by me and the winner collaboratively!

The Rules:
1. The bird(s) and/or human subject(s) accompanying the bird(s) can be of any age/breed/gender. We are an equal-opportunity contest.
2. Photos may be submitted May 18-May 26, 2010. Photos entered after May 26th will not be considered in the judging, but admired for their artistic value alone.
3. Photos must not have been winning photos in a previous contest sponsored by "ADozenGirlz".
3. Maximum photo entries per member: THREE (please put the name & breed of chicken(s) on your photo for ease of reference). (5/20/10-Rule Clarification: any entrant with more than three photos will not be considered in the voting process but appeciated for their enthusiasm.)
4. Voting by BYC members will occur May 27th through May 29th.
5. On May 26th, I will decide upon the top FIVE photo entries and create a VOTING POLL in a separate thread.
6. On Sunday, May 30th, I will announce the winner!
How the judging works:
1. I will do the preliminary judging and select the Top FIVE entries.
2. Preliminary judging will be based upon the following criteria:
a) For purposes of preliminary judging, MY "favorite means: most beautiful, pretty, fun, amusing, regal, quirky, funny, unusual, absurd, interesting OR otherwise distinctive;
b) The quality and/or creativity of the picture will be taken into account (ie: if your photo is very blurry or too far away to see clearly, youre not likely to be in the top five). You dont have to be a professional photographer, but we dont want to have to work hard to see what the subjects look like.
c) On May 26th the top 5 entries will be submitted to the BYC community for voting!
Please PM me with any questions (I will post questions and answers here that seem relevant to all entrants).
NOTE: This contest is sponsored by ADozenGirlz, a Golden Feather Member, NOT by BYC. The interpretation of the rules and any judgment calls necessary to be made will be interpreted at the sole discretion of ADozenGirlz.
