Winter and watering :)

Canada I just use a pail of water and keep changing.

Don't like to use any heat if possible creates moisture then you will have trouble!!

and for the ventilation part, my father put the vents at the top and at the back, you can't see them because they are high up and we didn't snap a pic of them

Search the forum for 'cookie tin heater'. If you have electricity in your coop, you can put one of these in and put your waterer on it. From what I read you can buy the Christmas cookie tins pretty cheap and install a light for little to nothing...much better than the pricey heaters TSC sell.

I'm hoping freezing will not be an issue for me...will see this Winter, our first with chickens.
