Dianthus dragged it into the den and smiled at her.he nuzzled her and started to nip the dear into small peaces for his Winter Store.he started to dig into the half frozen ground.He buried half the dear and saved the rest to eat,

Amos snuck out of the den, pulling Isolt with him. When they got to a bush he nudged her inside and sat down "Let's go to the river! Mama says it's this long ditch full of water, and you can swim in it!" he said excitedly.

Isolt shook her head uncertainly "We shouldn't go without Windego or Mama!" she squeaked. Amos looked at her "But I can't go alone either." he said. "Fine..." Isolt said at last.

"Great! Let's go!" he said and bounded off towards the smell of fish. Isolt followed him.

Merope looked around and did not see the kits, she screamed. "Windego! Their gone, the kits, their gone!" she shrieked, her fur standing on end.

Windegos fur stood on end her tail tip twitched and her eye wide.she started sniffing the ground,"oh no!"she screamed when she reached the bush,"Merope...they've gone to...."she gulped,"the river"

"They'll drown! They don't know how to swim!" Merope gasped.

Isolt put one paw in the river, then the rest and waded into it up to her knees.
~
Amos waded to his neck and kicked his legs, he was swimming, in a way. He was flailing in front paws and splashing a lot, but Amos was staying on top of the water.
~
Isolt, however, was not doing as well. She was struggling to stay above the water and only her head was sticking out.
