Ember ate it hungrily, then asked "Do you have a mate, Blade?"

"He was completely fine when he first met Jimmy!" Merope said looking exasperated at Amos, who now had started playing with Isolt. "Amos, your usually so friendly." she said just loud enough for him to hear.

Isolt squealed and thrashed her paws at Amos, his tiny claws digging into her shoulders.

Merope leapt up "Get off her!" she yelled, dragging Amos off Isolt.
