Winter Aviary Netting?

Hi, I am looking to cover my wood duck/quail/call duck pen with netting to make it safer and allow me to make it more like their natural habitat, and I am wondering what type of netting. I know someone who has knotted netting but every year he had to replace the netting in at least one of his three pheasant aviary's and I do not want to have to do that. I do not planning on putting poles in the middle like this

that make the net sag but I want to make the aviary like this

but with plants. Thanks!

Think snow....what ever you use it has to hold up to the snow load.

I have 2x4 welded wire on my run roof, most the snow went right thru it last year, until we got some freezing rain then wet snow, that clung to the wire and built up, in late winter and it darn near collapsed.
