Has any one else noticed your chickens combs become more of a target during the cold weather? Our girls have plenty of room and plenty of places to perch and play, but over the past 2 weeks since the weather has changed it seems when there is a tussle it's an all out battle of the combs! I was wondering if the cold contributes to more comb attacks or maybe you just don't notice during the warmer months, if they heal easier when it's warm?
