I am very glad to hear that some chickens enjoy the outdoors at winter as much as mine do! They did molt a lot a month back but have grown their feathers since. But the molting never stopped them from going outside or laying eggs.
It goes against a lot of threads I have read and I am still amazed at the results. I could not bear the thought of keeping them in their little coop all winter long and almost gave them up in November because of that. I am sure glad I gave it a try!
