Winter Coop Ready Ideas

So I know its still summer but Winter is going to come around the corner and was wondering how should I get ready. I figured id put straw down over the snow in the run so my chickens aren't walking on the col snow. But do you guys have other ideas to get ready?

Depends on your coop and run.
I shovel part of the run...only put down thin layer of straw or shavings if there's ice.


Close the windows, baffle the vents, set up water heater....that's about it.
