I do all flock (OS on the side) and for treats in the winter I sprout grains, add mix of dried herbs to their morning mash and found this alfalfa. My grains for sprouting and mix of dried herbs I purchase on line at Serenity sprouts website, because I have a small flock this is the most cost effective way for me to do it and get my chickens a good variety in the mix. I do not use the sprouts as replacement for pelleted feed as they recommend I use it to replace scratch in their diet.
