Winter in the chicken coop

When I woke up this morning it was 19°!! I live in Florida. It was cold!!

We had to put blankets on the chicken's pens to keep them warm. They're not used to it yet.

That looks cold for me! On a season like that, glad I live in Indonesia, and so are my chickens!

We are! My grandma is making them hen saddles. They're shivering so much because they're molting. I don't get why they do it THIS time of year...

And also....
I've learned that purebreds aren't as hardy as mixed breeds. I don't know why. Pop is a Del-urken. (Deleware-Turken) That's why she wasn't shivering with the purebred turkens. I'm glad that we have some mutts. lol.
