Winter Is Almost Started

Hey Everyone ...
how are you all ..


I'm having 2 leghorn young 3 months old Roosters they are fully feathered,
I'm here in New Delhi India & Its the arriving of winters nowadays temperature is about 78-67°F about 20°C in the night and morning ..if Sunshines then about 80-90°F in day ..its just nowadays it will go more coldy and freeze till February

I'm.keeping my roosters in our home's last room so they can't get any cool winds ..

I'm.worried as I never keep chickens in winters ..I'm.afraid a lil bit should I place an heat lamp in the home??

pls give suggestions how can I give them warmth and good health in winters ..

ohh pheww!! ..
yes we don't have a outdoor coop as we live in a apartment they have an indoor brooder type well ventilated we use a ceiling fan for air circulation ..they free range 3 times a day on our terrace ..

that is something you will need to live with may I ask how many you have ? are they being raised to butcher or is it for the eggs? are you able to grow greens meal worms can bought online the urge for them to scratch for food or bugs is strong but could be resolved by black plastic and dirt with seed sprouting

They do not need any heat, and they don't need to be indoors either. It never gets too cold where you live.

oh no no we don't raised them for meat or eggs they are our pet chickens we have 2 Roosters

yes! we have ordered meal worms online they have moderate treats and scratch and poultry natural grit all the time available ...

your right roosters will not give you eggs I hope your boys have a great life with you now with said there are many here that have house birds there is also a other people from India here

they will be fine out doors chickens have been around long before comfort heating
