Your Muscovy are so pretty. Do your geese harass them? My geese like to chase mine away.

How do they do in the snow?

1. No, my geese are gentle goobers. Most of the time the two species ignore eachother, but come broody season my muscovy drake will see my geese sitting on their nests, and the amorous goofball just can't help himself. My ganders will run to the goose's defense when that happens, but that's the extent of my goose/duck drama.

2. Terrible. They do so poorly in snow that guineas are the only poultry species on the property that I keep cooped up until significant snow melt has occurred. I accidentally let them out of their coops this last snowfall (I don't know where my brain was at the time), and it took me days to finally get everyone out of the trees and back in the coops again.
