Nope-she's "English Ivy" (although she is red). I just thought Ivy would be a cute name for her.
"Eilidh" (pronounced Ay-lee) is a Gaelic word meaning "light" (which she is!) and her registered name is "Light Up The Darke"- because we are in Darke County
All my grand children have holywood style names, like Britt Hayden Bordeaux and Katelynn Ivy Anthone and we give them nick names. Britt is Holywood and Katie is Poison Ivy, and it was her idea to name the puppy after her.
I have pieced my blocks into a top for my Snowman Quilt!
I substituted two blocks of my own making and a nine-patch and a star block so I wouldn't have more than two of each kind for repeats. I am planning to embroider "BYC Snowman Swap" and "Fall 2010" on the two non-snowman blocks for memory purposes.
The extra (repeats) will be made into a holiday wall hanging very soon.
I have to order fabric for the the border and the backing yet, but I am as pleased as can be with how this part has turned out!

That is really nice. I better do something with mine. I want to give it to my Aunt she will be turning 80 on Christmas and you would never know it.
