If you have a snowman print that has reds in it, that will be fine, or red as an accent color, like a scarf or hat, that will be fine.

The quilting magazine I bought last month had a pattern in it for a snowman quilt. I'm not that far along yet, but I'm working on it. IF I can figure it out I'll sign up by Aug 1, depending on my attempts!!

You could always do applique Kate. Pick a winter background, cut out snowman balls, and glue them in place, sew a zig zag to hold it down. Just like cut & paste and outlining.
