How do the eggs not freeze in the winter?

Some of my eggs have frozen in the winter. You just have to collect them before they freeze.

They absolutely can freeze. My nest boxes are fully internal to the coop plus my climate isn't that cold overall, so mine won't freeze on me, but I still check for them 3x a day.

I never worry about freezing here, still check the nest box at least 3x day.
