Winter Time Tips?

Hi everyone! So we have 4 Jumbo Pekin ducks. We live in Vermont, so we get pretty heavy and cold winters here. I'm just wondering if we need to do any preparation for them for the winter? They have shelter they go in and out of all day and get locked in at night. Of course their pool of water won't be able to be used during the winter since cell it would freeze, but how would we keep their drinuking water from freezing? Any other tips would be helpful!

I would use a Farm Innovators Utility De-icer. https://www.amazon.com/Farm-Innovators-C-250-Submergible-Aluminum/dp/B001E8X2CA
It won't break if the water runs out and it doesn't warm the water, just keeps it from freezing so it saves energy. You can probably use it for their pool too, ducks love to swim all the time.
