I got my heated bowl from Premier one supply... but I think Tractor supply places would have something. I have a heated dish What I do is put water in the bottom of the heated bowl then put an ice cream bucket ( 5 qt ) in that and fill that up with water . neither one freezes - and the ice cream bucket can easily be dumped and refilled if a lot of food is in it. I have not had any trouble ... but my chickens and ducks are in the same area in different houses. I do go through a lot of straw to keep the ducks dry - but my garden really appreciates it 
All the wet straw goes to the raised beds immediately- snow covered or not. We live in Northern Michigan and have had some -20º weather on occasion.Thankfully for only a week at a time tho'. We also have an artesian well 25 feet from the duck house runs all year. The ducks have their own spa plus it is easy to refill the water dishes. Heated dishes are the best - even have one for "Topper" the bunny.... never freezes.
