Winter watering

Thinking ahead to winter...I know its not even summer yet but Im a planner What do you do for water when its freezing and below? Normally we just unscrew our hosed from the spigot and dont think about it again until spring but now I need water at least for the water container if not pools....how do duck people manage this? Thanks!

I used a stock tank for the pool and had a sinking de-icer. For the drinking water I used a sinking bucket de-icer.

To refill or change the water it was a lot of hauling jugs of water....not to much fun but it was not an option to use the hose.
