by the way, saw you have a LB roo in your sig line- they are awesome!! i have one that replaced a very aggressive roo...this guy is a treat

They are great aren't they - such awesome temperments! I think of all the big breeds LB's are my favorite. I have never owned any of the other colors, but I imagine they are much the same. I would love to have more, they are cold hardy birds that are very entertaining and super sweet!

he is really everything i had heard about brahmas, the first roo was a BR and got increasingly mean, going after everything, guineas, me, grand daughter, his hens were getting bloody combs and shredded backs, someone here said they won't tolerate a mean roo- so as much as i tried not too, he had become dangerous to rehome, so he was culled- my brahma roo was supposed to be a pullet, but is a gentleman he treats the girls, never aggresive to me, hilarious how he chortles at them to come get a treat- and they run from all corners when he calls- i also have a lb pullet and 2 more not yet at laying age- they are my favorite of large breeds now...

mind if i borrow your sig of a chicken on each shoulder? that is wonderful!

Nearly 80 yesterday. I drove around to nurseries looking for plants and pear trees. Storm blew in last night. High today was 65... at 2 am... been downhill since, had flurries this afternoon and it's supposed to hit 29.
