winter with ducks

this is my second winter with ducks, but they are my babies so just want to make sure i know everything possible to to keep them happy and healthy

1) they are indoors at night so will stay pretty warm, for their daytime playtime how long can they be in the snow?

2) please give me lots of winter treat ideas!!!

3) homemade toy ideas? they have a few store bought toys, some homemade, and some stuffed animals. anything else i can make to keep them entertained? or anything i can buy?

4) what temp can they swim again? last year i think i did 30° and above?

I think the temperature extreme will stress them out. From the heated indoors to the freezing outdoors every single day will be too much for them to handle.

they did this last year too, and will only go outside if they want to. we don’t force them outdoors
