Welcome to Backyard chickens. Some folks like to securely attach thick tarps to the sides of the run - I say securely because if they flap around noisily it will scare the birds . This can keep some blowing show out and also make a windbreak. Others stack hay bales against the outside the of the run for windbreaks also But, if your coop has no cover, the bales can be used by predators as a stepping stone to get over the fencing.
