hey guys,
just looking for some advice on wintering my girls. I live in Western NY. Do I need to insulate my coop? I have 5 leg horns and used the Purina Coop design. Any advice and tips would be amazingly helpful.

I would insulate. Lets you ventilate more and keep the moisture down.

I would graze through the link aart posted and look threw a few other threads. Many different opinions on this and you will need to come to your own conclusion. I think most will agree is that the concern is not insulation but ventilation. IMHO, skip the insulation, close up any nasty drafts, keep an eye on moisture and you should be good.
