Winterizing a coop

Hello!
I’m new to chickens. I’m adopting my friends 3 hens: Araucana, Welsummer & a Cuckoo Marans. They all are egg layers & are healthy, funny, & friendly. I’ve done my homework with setting up a small coop. The weather is changing tho, going into Fall/Winter in the PNW. I’ve read so many articles & all very educational with different perspectives. It’s nice to have the opportunity to ask questions in this great chicken community!

A coop offering at least 4 sq ft per bird that is very well ventilated and dry should be all you need to get your girls through the winter.
