There are some marks on the 2x4s but they look like they were made by nails to me.
The wire that was damaged came pretty close to the edge of the 2x4. It looks like it's 1/4th an inch away.
The entire floor is made up of hardware cloth btw. I do have some boards on top of the cloth that was for the rabbit to rest on. Other than that it is just a frame made of 2x4s and some hardware cloth.
