Why did you remove so many posts FT?

Jim... In the old format you scroll down to see the posts.... new format, scroll up! But yea, if you want to look at all the posts since you posted, open another window to byc. There should be a "+" sign next to the tab on top that says "Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"" Click that + and it will open a new window.

DrH... Both DH and I lost our parents years ago.... all I can offer is "Hope for the best, prepare for the worst" I'm sure know that.

TO... I know it would be another expense, but with that many losses in one season I would at least talk to vet. maybe even get them tested. At least you got everyone where they belong now!

Bl4... My DH and youngest can't eat shellfish either....the rest of us love it!

Not much to say, I cleaned the guinea's abscess again. I got a pattern for aprons/saddles for the hens, and fabric, now for the time and ambition to get them done!

Night all!

I just cleaned my microwave and remembered someone here saying they just got a new one because theirs was 10 years old. The one I just cleaned is 23! And it will be a sad, sad day when I have to replace it. Not a thing wrong with it except the light burned out (about 3 months ago) and I don't see an easy way to get at it. I have a tester and test it for leaks now and then and it's fine. It survived 4 kids and at one point I was cooking for 12. I can set the power level from 0 to 10 and can time delay, defrost and set the memory (haven't done that in ages). It's a larger capacity than most are now too, I can even fit my biggest Corning wear on the turntable. What expensive name brand is this great long lasting machine? GoldStar!
