I challenged Dh to go on my ride with me.... lol he was like heck ya, 10 mph that aint nothing.... LMBO he was so dead when we got back. it was so funny, he now knows that I don't mess around.
you know what I was reminded about today? that rain at night = wet bike seat and wet bike seat = wet tushy

I know this was talked about WAY back lord knows how many pages ago but how on earth do u let the goats run free? mine would be in the road (55mph+)! and what about flowers of any kind or trees for that matter? dont they eat everything? and get into everything? oh i could just hear my neighbors now "AMY, YOUR GOATS ARE IN MY PETUNIAS AGAIN!" lol free roaming goats wont work for us I guess. but I would like to see them chase the kids on bikes lol

see you in a couple weeks lol bye!

Don't mean to rub it in to you all with brown grass but it is RAINING here and our power just went out !!!! How come it always goes out when I have eggs in the bator ??????

So my garden is getting watered ...... To bad we never got around to planting it !!!! Geez....

Hope my peafowl are doing ok outside in the rain. The one peacock is up in the huge dead elm tree. Oh well, don't have a long enough hose to reach him and a butterfly net won't cut it !!! lol

Ok, better get going before my laptops battery dies too !!

Oh and it's not raining because I drove the ATV nagged through the sprinkler. It's because I drove it around all day filling water tanks basically in my underwears !!! lol That's all I"m gonna say about that !!! lol

Sounds real weird, not used to hearing rain !!!!! Enjoy while we can !!!

DAaaaaaa, can't send this until my electric comes back on. It went out at about 11:30pm so we'll see how long it takes to come back on.
Well, I'm back, electric went back on at 11:30am. So my two bators were off for 12 hours. Looks like the temp went down to only 81 degrees. I think they'll be ok. I had a baby (stray egg from outside) hatch the day before and is in the brooder with Tomski's grandchick and it was crying all night !!!! Or at least I heard it on and off.

Thought the rain would cool things off. It was pleasant in the house. At least until I let Buttons out.Now the HOT SUN is baking us again today !!!! God I hate hot summers.I told Chuck last night, can't take it. I want to move north !!!! lol
Alaska here I come.

Hi again!
Just checking in! Got the rabbit food that I needed but still need to fill bird feeders and recheck their "pool". We got thunder (had to remember what that was) and like 5 drops of rain. All five hit my trucks windshield and not the garden. Now it's hot and disgusting outside.

The rabbits are quite happy down in the basement being Dungeon Rabbits! LOL! Well all except of Kiwi. He is miffed he lost cage space. I figure he is better off mad then dead though!

FT-If you move to Alaska I'll go too. The only problem with that thought is they can have horrible summers. Humid and very very buggy. Or very rainy. Over all I'm in though! Just checked Anchorage and they have a high or 52 and rain!!

Hey CC-Question for you!! I know you told me many many posts ago but how to you keep your rabbits from digging out of the car port? Didn't you put wire down?

Raim=Nice to see you again! From what I learned from my goats is that they don't really "eat everything". They like to test it and if they like it then they eat it. If not they just destroy it in the process. They keep testing until they find the "good part" even if there is no good part! They also like to time how fast certain people can turn from Human Pink to a Lovely shade of Eggplant by getting into things and places they are not supposed to go or get into and then forgetting they have a name. Or the fact that they are goats and not dogs, cats, or chickens.
Chopper Goat loved to trash my garden pots and wind mills/whirlie-gigs. He'd either try to eat them or run around whacking the dog with them.... BTW he was not Chopper then...he became Bob.

Well best be off! Time for lunch!

Ok, so I've changed my plans, I want to move to the north pole. Chicken igloo coops !!! Ducks won't be to happy though !!! Me on the other hand

It's now 2:30 pm and we are still on the generators. Wish I was able to run a cord to the greenhouse it's frying in there but it's priorities. Freezers and fridges are loaded so they come first. WPS won't give us a time so we are just hanging in. I have a sick hen in the coop that refuses to come out and just growls if I try to move her. no clue what's wrong. She's the one I forced out yesterday and when I did she acted normal. Stayed out for a while, ate, drank then back into the nest box. Today haven't gotten her out at all. I don't want to get roudy in this heat but I guess I am going to have to go force her out or she'll go from dehydration. everybody else is panting a bit but holding their own in the shade of the garden. BTW~yep, checked her crop and it seems fine. so???? Got to shut down to refuel. TTFN!

Goats... Idid tdo a ything at all to,ake them stay around.they just DO.they love me! :D I don't ha e any flowers here. They don't care about the green stuff as much as the dead dried stuff. So they hang out, go in the woods, come I thebackyard, climb on a roofor two.they never wander far! I assume it's the breed. Also the fact that I bottle fed them, so they're bonded tome. Shoot, they'll lay next to or under my tanning chair! Silly things...

Ok.. Try to translate that! I have a splint on my right hand and can't really use it to type right now... L8ters

Hi!.... RAINED! For about 10 min.
idunno.gif
better than nothing.

Vicki... she might be starting to go broody.

Not as hot as they said it was going to be, but man is it HUMID!!! Better go check on everyone... catch ya later.
