I don't think we all live in the same state sometimes. Here it is 53 degrees after thunder storms all night and 1.5 inches of rain. I do not normally post about the weather, but sheeeesh what a contrast. alot of you have ice and my chickens are out taking showers right now.
It was 58 here today so I kicked the chickens out to play in the mud. Now it's pouring again. And we had thunder & lightening last night.

Twiz, what breeds are you looking for?

Welcome Jelinek11,

Do you live on that street? I work at the school near by. If so, I am not sure if you can have Chickens where you live. I do know a few people who have them in town but it depends on your neighbors. I live in Rib Mt/Mosinee area, If you ever want to check out my small coop just let me know.
I like silver laced Wyandottes , they are nice producers and give lots of eggs.

We had a delay today, Kids were excited and talking about tomorrow. I don't know, Been in Wi for 40 years, don't remember the weather being this strange

Otonoh - I do not live on that street. I live in Kronenwetter. Our neighbors are teachers at the high school. We are possibly going to raise the chickens with them :) How many chickens do you have?

Dangerous roads today..hope everyone stayed safe. My daughter angie did a 360 today on hwy47 in the reservation on her way to work. She called the tribal police cause she was stuck off the road. The cop arrived and asked if he could get in her truck and try to drive it back on the road. He rocked it for a while and was able to get her out of the ditch. Told her to wait for the salt truck and then follow it to work.....I'd like to see our county or state cops give a helping hand like that!

Looks like 10" inches coming tonight! LOL Suzie is scared...me not so much, again LOL! The driveway is a skating rink, should be fun with snow on top of the ice.

Yep, there is a big coffee pot at Camp bl4.

The brahmas are really docile birds. The eggs are med to large in size. They lay well all though the winters and tolerate heat during summer really well. Being large birds, it only talkes afew to fill the coop if it's small.

Stay home tomorrow if you can....bigz

good PM><
Amber, a pile of wood like that is what we call labor intensive.. If you have the patience and time, you might be able to get enough boards for sheathing.. I don't see any framing lumber in there,, might be some, buried in there , though.. keep this one in mind, but keep looking..
and remember , that picture was taken last summer, that pile is covered with snow and ice now..

TerriO, the color of your barock roo is like some of my pullets.. and the roo I had that got killed.
I might have a pic of him somewhere..

No Vicki, I do not have any exotic roos. or chickens..

I can't remember what else I was going to say..

,,,,,,,,jimlaterz..........

that is exactly what went through my mind,, I would like to see a county mounty do something like that.. back when I was dating Annie, we ran out of gas on grand ave in wausau.. a city cop came along ,, after he found out what was wrong, I asked for a ride to my home which was just about a mile and a half in the general direction he was going.. It was snowing, but not that cold.. No ride, thank you..

I don't know what Suzie is scared of,, you promised her that many times and never produced.

SO along with that we are having boiled reds, baked sweets (thanks Dan) and green beans. I sure wish I was hungry!

OK now I am off for the night. I never did see Carol today...I sure hope she is OK!
Our weather isnt supposed to be bad until Thursday I think. Although we will maybe have some snow tonight...perhaps I need to go back out and put the hose away?
I think the kids are about ready to chew their arms off! Sheesh....

Off to check out FB...the potatoes are not done yet! (maybe I will get hungry?) TerriOnothungry
